I've always heard how great this show is, but I've actually just started watching it the last 3 episodes. I think it's great and I'm definitely hooked. I'll probably rent the other seasons on dvd at some point.
Tony better not die, but I got the feeling that because of how sad he looked Jack will save him. Yep, Jack will come to the rescue. I just wouldn't want to be a field agent dispatched with Jack, becuase they always die. Perhap Tony will live, if he stays away from Jack.
Harrissment, go and do yourself a favor and get the other seasons. They're worth it. I have seasons 1 and 2 in my set collection and I loved getting other people hooked on the show. 24 eps in four days twice. More shows need to be this good.
First hour was very good, but one thing could have made it one of the best ever... DON'T show Jack and Mandy in the previews!!! How amazing would that sequence of the car exploding (and the reaction) have been if we hadn't known all along that it was a fake and that there would be a scene of Jack speaking face to face with Mandy? How incredible could it have been to watch Jack replaying that video feed and wondering if he had something or if he had lost it? Terrific episode... but would have been so, so much better had the biggest twist not been spoiled.
Yeah, I missed the first 20 minutes. Fortunately a thought came that they may have started it earlier and I checked. Anyway, did anyone else realize in last weeks episode that the girl was the same one that attempted to kill Palmer?
Mandy also blew up the plane in season one. I love her...for a terrorist. And... OH MY GOD!!! WHAT AN ENDING! I mean, they kinda didn't play up the whole stopped a missle from hitting LA thing, but with Jack faking his death, that was great. He was riding into the sunset, like a true hero. I wonder how the hell they're gonna do a season five with Jack supposedly dead now.
Incredible. Their ability to create such incredible endings without becoming repetitive is a thing of beauty. I'm too stunned to analyze it that much now. Maybe Jack will return under the assumed name of Ron Mexico?
Unfreakingbelievable episode. 24's writers deserve every accolade in the book... Maybe next season can be a spinoff... "Behrooz on the loose" Whatever happened to that junior terrorist?
Man, man, man...What can I say? 24 is threatening to become the best series of all time! It is absolutely amazing how creative its writers are. All it takes is one episode and this series hooks you on forever. What a couple of shows, what an ending, what a bunch of actors! Great stuff man, you just can't top this show EVER, it is better than any series, show, or movie that I have seen in the past 2-3 years. The only problem is I can't wait for 7 more months until it returns, why do they make it that freakin' long?!! Oh well, definitely I am adding this season to my collection. I am guessing next season Jack will be operating under his new identity outside of US soil to capture some international terrorists.
I think i's understood that Behrooz is dead even though they didn't show it. Wasn't he last seen being given to Marwan? I missed a couple episodes though, I may be wrong. I think Curtis will be running CTU next season since Tony and Michelle are quitting.
OK, I've done a little snooping and avoided reading spoilers for next season, but here's what I've got: Jack, Chloe and Curtis are back and the new season started pre-production last month. They're supposed to start shooting in late July, so hopefully, as it was this year, we won't have consecutive weeks with no 24 episodes.

Jack being shot had me going BIG TIME... I was pissed for a moment there. Then when they faked his death.... freaking awesome!! You know Jack will be back for season 5 and 6. Questions.... Is Keeler dead? I know they shot down Air Force One, but why was VP Logan so happy - shaking hands with his cabinet and such towards the end. Doesnt seem right if they lost a President earlier that day. What the hell happened to Behrooz? Dead? Escaped? Why did Marwan want him in the first place? So exciting... cant wait until next season!
