Looks like this show is going to go out on top... these last few eps have been as intense as anything I've ever seen.
Just watched the last ep on DVR. Machine gunning down the secret service, putting president Logan in a ******* sleeper hold... This **** is insane. And did he really kill that Russian guy with a f--king sword?? Jesus. I don't see how this show could possibly end with Jack having any semblance of a life left. Maybe the rumors of the 24 movie follow up to the show are just to throw us off the fact that Jack's gonna die. That crazy sonofabitch pretty mush has to, at this point. That or just become a full-time, cold-blooded mercenary of justice. That grandpa Jack stuff sure as hell ain't gonna fly anymore. lol All that said, I haven't enjoyed 24 this much in years.
I think he'll run away in the last episode and then there will be a movie to finish off everything (where he possibly dies)... that'd be a nice ending.
great f'n episode...Jack the terrible is out for blood/revenge...it just keeps getting awesomer...lol... Can't wait for next week...I know Jack's hurt, but c'mon, he's Jack f'n Bauer...
I wonder what's going to happen when Chloe finds Jack? Is Chloe going to be the one that shoots Jack?
Watched last night's episode this morning like many have said it was completly epic. The 24 series finale Monday is going to be amazing the show may have gone downhill but their finales are always legendary. Jack's mask and sword kills bad stuff!
These last episodes are really saving this season. The post-Renee Jack is taking no prisoners and the episodes have been all Jack kicking ass and leaving death in his wake. I'm starting to wonder if he doesn't take out the President herself.
I can't wait. The second half of season 8 has been simply brilliant. I feel sorry for anyone who gave up after the horrid first half of the season... they never got the payoff they deserved for putting up with the awful first 10-13 episodes.
this season sure has been dark. renee was super dark for most of her screen time and now jack has just gone crazy. usually even when jack is on the warpath he just goes after the guilty and only does what is necessary for justice. now he's just out for blood. he tortured that one guy to death, he killed those contractors who had dana who were basically just civilians who the president hired for a job, he shot the russian ambassador's guards (and killed everyone in the room). usually he would just wound or knock out people who were just in the way like he did with the secret service agents and just kill the guilty quickly. 24 is definitely pulling no punches on the way out. lets hope the finale keeps it going.
