Well, Kiefer had stomach surgery before the finale was filmed. Might be why they wrote in the knife wound to the stomach. No clue.
Yeah, I agree there wasn't enough of Jack in the last episode but I think this leads in well to the movie that is rumored. He has Russia and the U.S. on him now.... the movie should be epic.
All Jack wanted was to spend time with his granddaughter and get with a hot chick with big boobies. This season and finale was basically a big f--k you to Jack, lol. We'll see if the movie makes it up to him.
i don't understand how the us would really be on him as much as the russians. or really the russians for that matter once all the evidence was revealed.

I think the Russian president, once consequences are handled for his actions, will still have resources to track Jack down. The U.S. meanwhile, will want to prosecute Jack for some of the horrible things he did (killing Dana Walsh is one).. although you're right, the Russians probably want him more than the U.S. My clue was when President Taylor said that the U.S. would be after him as well as the Russians.
