Was anybody else confused on Jack giving the memory card to a random police man when all we've been hearing all season long is "We can't trust anyone."?
i was screaming at the tv when i saw that. i thought for sure billy walsh would still be listening and all he had to do was dispatch someone to track down the guy coming in. i also like how he's in the same room where someone he claims was trying to sabotage the government, he accidentally kills that person after being shot, and they're just going to let him walk out of the examination room 7 minutes later. other than those two things, great episode. the look on mr. foreman's chief of staff's face when he realized he was going to be physically at the next target was priceless.
Sean should have framed Gold (since she was in the mainframe room earlier) and kept hitting Erica. Dumb. I guess it's pointless because he would have been busted anyways. If I were the black chick, I'd be like lets hurry up and leave Dubaku, not risk my life in a car accident.
I thought for sure Jack and FBI chick were going to make out after she slapped him a couple of times. They're really stretching it with Buchanan. He was unemployed 6 hours ago running some 3 man covert ops. Now he's in charge of secret service protection and FBI liaison to the president.
Every episode has been really good so far. Hope it keeps up with plotline and villian #2. Though after next week's episodes (judging from the previews) I think the only way to top it off next season is Jack vs Aliens.
It really feels like a typical "24" season to me. They wrap up the terrorist attack with Jack saving the day with everything seemingly resolved. Then, the sh_t hits the fan again. Only, this season we have the FBI chick telling Jack how heartless he is. I suspect Jack will seduce her before the day is done.
The feds were compromised, not the local police. That part really didn't bother me. What did bother me was how they knew that the FBI was compromised yet all the while they were debriefing Moss on a regular land line instead of a secured cellphone. You'd think by now Bauer would be smarter than that.
Just a heads up, tonight's episode is 2 hours long and starts at 7 Central. If you tune in at 8, you'll have missed half the show.
I felt they could have stretched out the Aaron and President's daughter sneaking around storyline more than 20 minutes.
