I just do it because I've read spoilers on accident before and I get kinda pissed off when that happens. I'd normally be working right now but since it's a holiday I'm not. I usually stay away from message boards on Monday nights/Tuesday mornings.
No, he left after he told Ahmed to kill the boy. Sucks about Curtis, but at least he didnt go out like a b**** like Tony did...Freaking stabbed with a needly...Still bitter about that.
I can't delete crap. Seriously, if you haven't seen the most recently aired episode. As soon as people started discussing the leaked eps I stopped reading the thread 'cause I didn't want to know. But it's aired. It's happened. It's out there. It ceases to be a spoiler at that point. I guess we should stop the Rockets game threads because of people who TIVO'd the game and hadn't watched it yet.
The credits stated "Guest Starring Robert Cross." That was our first clue that something was happening.
The first 12 minutes of episode 5 were also on the leaked DVD. If you really wanna know the casualty figures are from the nuke, Spoiler Lennox tells the President at the beginning of the episode that they project at least 12,000 people died in the blast and from the radiation.
Off subject, but did Fox 26 really need to leave the weather advisory stuff on the screen? That was really annoying.
The other 4 nukes can't be suitcase nukes like this last one. I mean, they needed a special part and a nuke expert (who's now dead) to get this one off. If the other's aren't suitcase nuke they might be bigger and more damaging. However, detonating all 5 bombs in LA would be lame and suck. Part of the story are the terrorist attacks all over the country. When Jack averted the subway attack there were simulaneous attacks in Chicago and St. Louis. The should keep this up until Fayed is taken down. If everything suddently became confined to LA then that would be lame.
Everything happens in LA in 24. At least the President is in DC and not at a special conference in Cali.
What I learned from watching 24: Spoiler 1) Jack can do no wrong. 2) Don't trust brown people. In fact, lock them up. Your next door neighbor could be Akmed. 3) Don't vote for a black president cause a nuke will go off on his watch. 4) Men need to get laid. Chloe should have a threesome. Written in jest.
This season is good so far 'cuz the stuff that the terrorists do is more realistic and not too farfetched. If they start doing stuff like sending a computer virus to meltdown every nuclear reactor in the country simultaneously, again, that's the time to change the channel. And they should put in a little diversity in the type of terrorists... tired of seeing arab / eastern european guys. Maybe North Koreans, Chinese??
Well, they could've had the Chinese be the heavies this season, but they pretty much bypassed that storyline by getting Jack out of prison in the first 5 minutes. I actually like the fact that 24 is the one production out of Hollywood that has the nutz to show Islamic fundamentalists as terrorists. I'm sick of TV shows and movies resorting to evil white Eurotrash as the bad guys so no one gets offended.
They have spread it around. Haven't you watched previous seasons? We've had Eastern Euro terrorists, Mexican terrorists, British terrorists, American terrorists, Middle Eastern terrorists and Presidential terrorists. What else do you want?
Spoiler So how the **** can Fayed still be alive?? Wasn't he RIGHT next to the nuke when it went off?? Oh yeah.. and who else saw this coming? Curtis was being a d*ck this season.. he was goin' down.
Fayed mentioned to the guy working on the nuke to "meet him at the safe house when he was done". Fayed had already left the building.
