Yes it is. I never saw him on NYPD blue so if I hadn't seen his name in the credits, I might not have recognized him. I can't imagine the missle will go to Russia. I mean, Zubarov just gave the OK to storm his own consulate. They're cooperating, why would we all of a sudden attack them? Has to take the drone or vague-middle eastern-type country.
Another complaint from something that was also repetitive in a previous season (see season 4 and it's repetitiveness with 1 and 3) yet wasn't complained about then? I'm shocked that the criticism only comes now!
I've watched this show from day 1 and i hate to join the chorus but this season has been subpar to me. I spent the last weekend rewatching Season 5 and even in comparison to that this season has been unbelievably boring. I wish it wasn't so but 24 is starting to show its age. There's still hope it improves down the homestrech.
The first four hours of this season was one of the best in the series. This season is in some ways a rehash of season 2 (nuke detonation in 1st half, war crisis in 2nd half) and season 4 (Muslims gone wild). I think people were expecting a ramp up after the premiere. It's unfortunate because it's already a top notch series. Besides, you can't judge individual episodes.
She is by far, the hottest chick ever on 24...I like Elisha, but man...I don't think she had anything to do with it, but how does it get tagged to her computer...Was it the guy who lent her his password? I thought the past two episodes were solid...Logan getting stabbed, Jack learning about Audrey, another nuclear attack...The VP is f'n crazy, and I like it... I do think the first 4 hours were the best and it was definitely hard to continue that type of great TV, but overall, it has been entertaining...
Plenty of people complained about it last year. Just because you didn't see it doesn't mean it didn't happen. The security flaws in CTU have been one of things complained about for a long, long time. People started complaining about repetitiveness in season 2 for lots of things - like the whole Kim-getting-captured stuff. Besides which, do you not see the difference between something repeated twice vs. three times vs. four times and how you'd get more and more complaints the more a plot device is repeated?
I followed those threads, and believe me, it wasn't anywhere close to the level of complaining that it is this year. I understand that you get more complaints the more its repeated, but logic tells you it would be a slow rise each time it happens, not an occasional complaint and then BAM non-stop whining on that magical fourth time. I watched season 5 last week with a friend who hadn't seen it yet, and I was amazed at how well 24 had evolved in one year in terms of creating more interesting characters and avoiding plot holes in the writing. imo, this is more entertaining than any season except for 4. I think a whole lot of you are falling into the trap of starting to dislike a show because it's popular (see Emmy win last fall) and gets talked about, as well as the thought that shows have a certain shelf life. I think a lot of you, subconsciously, are looking for flaws because you're expecting to find them given the show's age and popularity.
So, do ya'll think that they laid the groundwork for next season with the news about Audrey's "murder" in China. A one man personal vendetta would be different than the national security/save america plot lines, no?
Also, I'm not sure how many of you watched previous seasons on DVD but when you watch a 24 hour movie in 1 hour increments, it loses some of its effect. Previous seasons may seem better because you watched them many episodes at a time and not just one hour per viewing.
I'd bet pretty good money that Audrey's not really dead, but we'll see. It would be an interesting plot line.
They've already been brought back by FOX for next season and Kiefer is already under contract for it. Could they break a contract? In theory, yes, but given the show's strong ratings and given how desperate FOX is for a primetime drama with good ratings, it's unlikely.
No ****. I'm glued to the tube whenever she's on screen. Is it sad that I knew right away she was from vegas vacation? She was hot then too, even if jailbait. btw I like the show this season. I wouldn't mind a change up, but the show is going to remain formulaic, and it will eventually go off the air because of it. But I still dig it. Kinda like MGS.
No one watched the episode last night? I thought it was good. I liked the whole autistic brother idea.
