Gotta say, I'm a little nervous for Jack next week. He doesn't have the best of luck at those consulates. Logan was great, as anticipated. Unbelievable that they'd have the bomb be successful this early in the season, but given the nuke in hour 4, anything's possible.
i was guessing the whole way they wouldn't let the president die b/c of previous seasons of 24.. but we'll see if he's alive or not. ok episode. tiring of morris's antics
Tell me about it. Just when I was hoping it would improve, they come the worst episode of the season.
This is only the 2nd season I have watched on a week to week basis. The show is much better watched over a 24 hour time period
I'm not sure what to say. People said they wanted more Chloe — she was all over the screen tonight. People said they wanted more past characters they could connect with — only one of the best characters (Logan) in the show's history came back and had tons of screen time. People said they wanted the family soap opera gone — it left after the first 5 minutes. People said they wanted more action — and the President of the United States likely was killed by a bomb. The producers tonight basically gave all the naysayers exactly what they had been clamoring for for weeks — and now it's boring or the worst episode of the season? I know we've beaten this horse to death in recent weeks, so I'll stop there, but I hope some of you understand why this is so baffling to me. I'm not sure what you guys are looking for or what drew you to the show in the first place.
Append on to there "or why you still watch it." Several people have been complaining since the season started. We're ten or so episodes in. If you dislike it so much, why do you still watch?
I agree. Even if the show is slacking somewhat (not my opinion), it is still better than 95% of shows out there still.
It is getting boring when compared to the previous seasons. It is still one of the better shows on TV. I want to see where the storyline goes next week. I say there is no way WP dies, although him surviving and coming back to kick some ass would be predictable. Meh....Out the 1 hour network shows I watch on TV, I would have to say: 1. Heroes 2. 24 3. Lost 4. Prison Break
My guess: Assad saved Palmer when he yelled bomb and jumped towards him (shielding Palmer from schrapnel). Palmer will temporarily be out requiring the services of the VP. Should be interesting what happens to Lennox, Reed, and the guy who built the bomb.
Pretty good ep IMO...Tom cant' stop anything, Reed is f'n crazy, f'n Palmer #2 goes down, but I think he survives...Logan, as always is great...Chloe is getting tiresome and Morris, hell, let him drink and f up again... Jack at the consulate, always a classic moment...
uh...not sure why no one has commented on a pretty solid episode IMO, but next week should be awesome. Martha is back!!
Jack is an idiot. And I think this marks the second Southwest Texas State alum in the Oval Office. And can you please put anything in the previews in the spoiler tags? A lot of people don't like to watch the previews because they give entirely too much away.
No worries, man! Not that big a deal. It's hard, but I make sure I delete it from my DVR before they show the previews. Of course, we were watching The Winner earlier and we were both distracted during a commercial and saw the preview of 24 with Jack tied up. Yeah, thanks Fox for telling us what happens in the last 10 minutes.
I didn't bump it, because it seems like every time I do it turns into whining about how terrible everything is. I thought it was an awesome episode and I loved it, and I'm so freakin' esctatic for next week. That preview was amazing.
