I don't know when it will be up, but it will be here by tomorrow: http://creative.myspace.com/VOD/24/index.html
This is the first year I've watched 24, and I'm sorry, but Prison Break blows it away. Again, I can't vouch for the first 5 seasons, but I look forward to a Prison Break ep. 24 can be incredibly boring. I'm actually disappointed that Prison Break will be usurped by 24 next week.
I watched Prison Break very little--probably as much as you've watched 24. So we're both speaking without much knowledge of the other. But the premise of that show is even worse than this one. The guy spends an entire season trying to break out of prison, and still doesn't do it! Boring.. can't reach your goal in a whole season of a show. And what, he was out and now he's back in trying to do it again? Just going off the previews, so no spoiler..
Just an FYI, 8 of them broke out at the end of last season. Nobody has gone back, sans a corrupt cop, who just got out. 3 have been killed, including the psycho from Fargo.
I have to agree with Prison Break being better than 24 this year and I'm a 24 fan. I've watched every episode of every season. The acting is just terrible and I think its starting to get a little old/stale. When the show first came out it was so different and new that you could overlook a lot of its flaws but there are too many great shows out there that just smoke 24 with the acting and fresher plot lines. I was laughing at it more than being compelled last night. I hope it changes because I really do like 24.
I thought much of the acting last night, particularly the scenes with Jack and Graem, was amazing and completely blew me away. I find this season as compelling as any of the others, and perhaps moreso. I've tried a lot of the other new shows, and to me, they don't even compare. Last night's episode, to me, was one of the best in the history of the show. Not that I expect anyone else to think the same, but it's far from a universal opinion that Prison Break is superior.
I tried watching Prison Break, but it didn't work for me...24, sans the first 4 hours, have been a little slow, and I love 24...The interrogation scene was awesome...Grahm revealing everything and Jack being vulnerable/borderline crazy was great...I knew the Dad had something to do with it and was right... Morris being kidnapped, didn't see that coming, but made sense after the fact...Not sure what Tom, Reid and the VP have planned and will continue to watch...
That, and 24 goes back to the history of the show a lot. It's hard to just come in on season 6 and know why people are concentrating on what Graham did and how D. Palmer, Tony, Michelle, and all those "still alive" characters play into this. There are ties everywhere and that's one of the mainstays in why "24" is what it is today.
Who would have thought this show would basically devolve into Jack fighting terrorists within his own family? I think Jack better find out what Grandma and Grandpa are up to...or anyone else in the family tree for that matter. Their all looney tunes.
I don't have a problem with this season. The earlier seasons were probably better, though. For all the people looking for a place to watch the episodes, you can just go straight to FOX's site to watch them.
I like this season. It isn't the best one but it's good enough. Hopefully the doubleheader tonight will take things up a couple of notches.
I hate how I try not to watch the next episode previews, then I'm watching some other show on Fox and they show a commercial which kinda ruins the next episode.
This season started out with a promising bang and could've been the best of them all, but this soap opera sh*t with Jack and his family (or Dad, anyway) is becoming extremely boring very quickly.
How so? Jack's dad is a much more intriguing villain that some others on this show, namely Marwan and Sayed Ali. If you want to talk about boring villains in this show, those are the places to start.
We'll see about that. As a villain, I'll give the old dude a chance, but this family dynamic is not all that compelling. Sure, it makes it more important to Jack, but honestly, I could give a sh*t. Farmer Hoggett better come through as a badass villain.
