LOL, right? You have to win games at a high percentage if you want to do that Morey...

Might as well let Yao sit out the rest of the season if it makes our team better.

    Told you this was stupid.....

.....the Rockets weren't close to the playoffs without Yao for a full season....

....so naturally, we think the Rockets are going to make it with him doing cameos or courtside interviews?

I wish we did the whole 24 minute thing a few years ago.

McGrady and the team played well with and without Yao Ming. If only we played Yao 24 mins during the year we won 22 games in a row. That could've the year we made a serious run for contention.

i feel that if Yao feels he is healthy enough to play at least 30 min. a game then they should let him play. the way things are going it looks like we can use him more in the lineup then the bench. he had a good night against the Nuggets tonight but i really wish we could have kept him in longer. also, i felt Brooks didn't have a good night especially with him not shooting the ball well and the turnovers.

I did, but I also said that having 12 rotational players could be a disaster.....but I was hopeful that it would not be....

Well, it is.....so DM..this is when having too many good players is a problem because the coach can't decide whom to play and NO one gets comfortable that way.

I don't see the harm of extending his minutes by one minute and thirty seconds each quarter and reducing his workout and practice by 25%.

I guess it's yao's minutes that's making the guards play uninspired perimeter defense or that the guards want to do their own thing when you're owning the other team down low. =/

I think this 24 minute limit messing with the team's identity complaint is over played myself. I don't see it. What I see is mental lapses in defensive rotations by the guards (mostly AB) and our power forwards (mostly Scola). Al Harrington got 28 points, mostly wide open 3s. That's the game right there in my opinion. Too many turnovers and at the wrong time and questionable choice in rotations by Adelman (Jordan Hill over Chuck Hayes).

October, DD. Remember the start of the 22 in a row season.
We are going to be damn good. We have all the pieces. Yao looks very good already in October, and this was one of the major concerns. We just need time. We don't play Nuggest basketball, we try to play HQ basketball. More pieces, more complex offense, more time to get the chemistry. We talk about the Rockets and Nuggets in March.
