I said “on occasion” is fine. They did it after every play for a series in the fourth quarter.

I tip my hat to the UTSA defense. Them boys are nails. I also tip my hat to their QB. He's a nightmare to deal with. And their receivers are solid.

That said, holy crap do we have problems.

    Our interior OL is trash
Our OC is in denial about that fact
Our WRs outside of Dell stunk it up
Our front 4 cannot get pressure
Our back 7 cannot tackle to save their lives

This is a scary sign of things to come. Utsa isn't a bad team, but we got dominated for like 80% of that game and did not deserve the W.

Negatives aside, this was a really cool way to win a game.

I love that the Tune Tipover happened right in front of AD Chris Pezman.

Tune balled out so damn hard. He had a great statline even with 6 or 7 terrible drops. Ran the ball well too. And that game winner will stay on the highlight reel all year. Give that man the game ball.

    Refs were horrible.

    UH OL needs technique teaching.

SA best receiver dropped about 4 passes.

    Yall are both good teams.

    Holgorson is still a jackass.

The Tune hate is odd. I’ve never really understood it.

UTSA brought it all today. That QB was magic until the luck ran out. Glad to have the win, but there is much to work on. Tech will be another war. Hope Tune erases the memory of last year.

He deserved all of it until about halfway through last year when he turned the corner. Now he's a mwaun.

I thought he played well. He scrambled quite well when his OL crapped the bed, and he didn't throw more the a couple of idiot passes.

I knew this was going to be a toss up because UTSA is a good team, well coached and at home. Coogs always seem to have a slow start. All the b****in' about Tune can stop now. Tune won this game with grit, pure grit.

Just need to improve each week, OL is first up. Get better fast, please.

Did it seem like a lot of calls went the Coogs way?

We had 11 penalties to their 6 and the most consequential call of the game was a ticky tack flag that cost us a special teams touchdown so.... No.

Houston is notorious for first game stumbles. They are lucky they won it. Hats off to UTSA. They are no patsy. I don't think UH will look as bad next week. But you never know with the goofy over caffenated coach they have.
