I truly believe we will get a starter in this draft even if we dont trade like brewer or possibly carney
Im more excited for our 32nd pick. we all know we are getting a good player at #8 but what about 32nd pick. James white, Novak, pitts, Dee brown.
As counterintuitive as it seems, the pick I'll be sweating out the most is Chicago at #2. If they don't take Tyrus Thomas, there's a serious chance that he finds himself on the Rockets which is something that would make me curse my television in disgust like so many other past Rockets drafts. I'm resigned to whoever we end up getting, even Foye or a trade down for Reddick have their merits. Anyone but Tyrus and I should be ok.
If the Bulls dont take Thomas, I dont see him getting by BOTH the Wolves or the Celtics. And the Celtics probably would be taking phonecalls when their pick was in play.
I haven't been this excited since we got Joel Pryzbilla then parleyed him into Collier(RIP) and Langhi.
Pryzbilla is actually starting to become a solid player. I would kill to have him backing up Yao for the next 4-5 years. Granted he didnt warrant the 12?th pick. But centers are often the longest of shots. We got lucky where as the Clippers hurt for a long time because of Olowokandi.
