Yeah, last night was a good episode. The biggest thing to me was that idiot first lady, Martha, asking if the route had been changed and looking all worried the whole ride. She's so stupid! The Zubarovs have to know something was up, and it's gonna get out that the most incompetent present of all-time fictional or not negotiated with terrorists. I've always been a Palmer supporter (in the world of 24), so I don't care what happens to Logan, but it could cause some unfortunate consequences for the people of the United States. The guy at Omicron (Henderson, was it?) is going to get his next week, oh I can't wait. Jack is gonna go all Chuck Norris on his ass... I thought it was a little convenient how easy Lynn got taken out of play, but I love that he did... Ohhh man I saw that Kim and Tony will return, that is going to be so awesome. Tony Almieda is THE MAN!
I don't think that we've heard the last from Lynn. Remember that his key card was stolen, and I'm sure that it will resurface sometime in the future.
How did they explain away Lynn losing his key card? Just how in the hell does he have access to anywhere within CTU without it? It seems to me that proper protocol would be: 1.) Lynn reports his key card stolen. 2.) CTU issues a new key card and disables the old key card making it worthless. But...NOOOOOO...instead we have to play the "Lynn is a wuss as he won't report his key card stolen because his sister is a crackhead" angle.
I think Lynn was "embarrassed" that he lost his card and didn't say anything... and him being in charge of CTU gave him all-access with like "you know who I am, I could have your job attitude." Just think, if it was your first day on the job and you lost your key card 5 hours into the day would you say something?
Yes, but could they have at least made it a little realistic? Here is how it went down: Lynn: Arrest all these people. Security puts hand on gun. Curtis puts his hand on gun. Curtis: I'll draw my weapon. Lynn: Do something. Don't stand there. Curtis: I'm calling a 112 relieving you of duty. Escort him out. Lynn: Don't touch me. Security takes Lynn out. WTF. Lynn is the friggin boss.
Lynn was outside help... Curtis was the highest ranking agent actually employed by CTU. It's perfectly logical for them not to know the exact specifications of whatever Lynn's short-term "appointment" was.
Not to mention the fact that he totally lost his cool with everyone. I hope Lyn gets killed off the show soon...... CTU is no place for a Hobbit, a Goonie, or Rudy.
Anyone have a torrent link for episode 10 from last night? My gf did not get to see it...I did though, it was great as usual, although i am gettin tired of CTU arresting jack 2-3 times a season. just let the man be, you cant stop him....he is jack bauer
I didn't mean to imply that I thought we'd seen the last of the hobbit. I just thought it was a little easy how they got him relieved, but it's 24 and you gotta go along with it sometimes. When I was watching it, I was thinking maybe Curtis had already talked to the security guards, so that's why they went along with whatever the clause was called. I totally agree with Svpernaut's post about Lynn; I'd also say it's why he went about the matter the way he did. I hope that "spoiler" wasn't really a spoiler and just the poster's opinion. I'm pretty pissed if it's fact. If they kill off Tony, I might not watch anymore.
CTU only questioned Jack when Lynn was in charge, I don't see them doing that anymore.... everyone that is left KNOWS he is a badass, especially Buchanan. No way they kill off Tony, too many fans love him just as much as they love Jack. I'm with you though, if they kill off Tony I lose all hope... because then we'd have one less badass watching our backs. Tony completes the Jack, Aaron, Curtis team of ass-kickers. I have to admit when I though Aaron may have died this past episode I was pretty upset, and then that glorious son of a b**** came to and saved the day... I was yellin' at the TV "Go Aaron!"
