If you didn't have dumb characters like Logan, you wouldn't have as good a story. I'm happy Cummings got fawkd and they didn't drag it out to another episode. I was expecting Cummings to say "they're (CTU) trying to frame me" instead of "I sold the gas to the terrorists, I had Palmer killed, who cares about the dead hostages".
I'm glad they made him out to be a "rogue patriot" rather then just a flat out traitor/terrorist, it made the scenario more believable. Cummings had a pretty good idea with trying to use the gas on the terrorists themselves although his delivery could have used a little work... however, when you play with fire be prepared to get burned. Praise Allah for Jack Bauer.
Just watched last nights episode this morning...Pretty good, but having Jack disobey the order, etc...and then having the guys watching as they search the building and not finding the gas was a little out there...We need more hot chicks in this show...
As much as I like "24", "Sleeper Cell" on Showtime is a much better show IMO, it's not only good acting, but a better plot and with more twists and turns, not to mention a better cast of actors.
Keifer's "dramatic" whisper voice gets on my nerves.. I watch this show in the same way that I watched Saved by the Bell as a kid.. I knew it was a bunch of corny crap.. but its a guilty pleasure. As tigermission already said, if you want quality.. go with Sleeper Cell.. you get what you pay for..
Freakin' Sam needs to cool it and get his key card back...... It was ok last night, but Audrey is getting hotter and hotter by every episode...
this might be old, but I just found it. http://www.notrly.com/jackbauer/index.php?topthirty maybe you all will get a kick out of some of it.
Last night was a great episode, although I wish Sam-Wise would go back to his gay hobbit love and leave Jack the hell alone. I really liked his character at first now I just want to punt his ass across the room. President Logan continues to show me exactly who the Oval Office would be had Al Gore been elected... praise be to Allah that it didn't happen and that we have Jack Bauer to save the theatrical Al Gore.
I'm not hating on SamWise too much. He has valid reason to get on people's asses. It's the people below him that don't seem the feel the need to fill him in. It's the same story over and over. Someone there wants Jack brought in, someone there is helping Jack out. Nonetheless, makes for good television if you don't take it too seriously. Hell the whole time he was in the car with Curtis, I kept saying, "Man, poor Curtis, tryin to be all sensitive to Jack...too bad Jack is saying, are you sensitive to THIS!!!? BAM"
The hobbit Sam was hilarious in this episode. The guy just wreaks of vintage dumbass in this show. Every time he talks...he almost sounds like he has a lisp. I just can't even begin to pretend to believe he is in the position he is in...i.e. directly reporting to the president and in charge of CTU. I mean...it's not even close. I just can't buy it from this one character even though he's feeding it. Since it is kind of ruining the believability factor for me some, I'm not enjoying this season as much as seasons past. The funny part was when he lost it after realizing that some CTU members were communicating with Jack keeping him in the dark and went into some loud rant..."LISTEN UP, PEOPLE! WE'RE HEADED FOR A 2-3-2 LOCKDOWN!" . DOH!!! Even after he supposedly began monitoring all the workstations, Chloe is on the phone with Jack talking as if she is not being monitored on a CTU phone no less. That was a bunch of crapola. Then, she's like..."I'll have to find a way to send you the decrypted files as were being monitored". Oh...really...but your phone conversation is not being monitored. Something stinks, people, and it's Sam the Hobbit not doing his damn job in more ways than one(including his acting job). Surf
I thought the show is actually getting better, especially if Curtis gives Lynn a slapdown.... I mean, come on....if I can see two hobbits go crazy and then get beat up in 2 out of the 4 network TV shows I watch...then its a good season. Now I just need Pippin to show up on Battlestar Gallactica and get beat up by Starbuck, followed by Frodo showing up as a lying patient on House.
How many more episodes until Sam one way or another loses his position to a semi-concious Tony Almeida?
Well, I don't know if any of you heard but apparently Elisha Cuthbert will reprise her role of Jack's daughter in future episodes this season. Per the storyline, she thought her father was dead as well and, as we know from eariler this season, there was reference to someone at CTU contacting her to let her know he is alive. So, we have some more eye candy hitting the scene.
That's what I'm sayin bro. Just like in season 4 when he comes in...I swear, I almost stood up and cheered like the Rockets beat the Mavericks.
