After last weeks depressing episode, this was a welcome relief and brought me back to the show again. Damn I know Auds has to be telling the truth....
Now that I think about it, Audrey was the one who gave Jack the lead about Collette at the beginning of the episode. Would she really do that if she and Collette had dealings? And even if she would, wouldn't she give Collette a heads up to try and cover herself?
Thats what I was thinking. Auds wouldnt do something like that..... Damnit, they must reconnect...... Such a hottie.
Is Division/Homeland just the bullpen for annoying middle mgmt? Don't they have their own office space instead of going into a building that was just hit with toxic gas and the scene of mass murder? I'm guessing Jack and Audrey doesn't get back together.
Great episode...That Collette chick was hot...I still can't believe Audrey would be involved, but can't wait for next week...
She was gorgeous... hope she's in more episodes. I don't think Audrey is bad, I have an idea what may be going on but will keep it to myself :x Sad to see Tony go bye-bye and in such a lame way, I was holding out hope that he would be okay... oh well, at least we still have Black Jack and Aaron... and it is good to see Palmer's brother return, I like to see old faces. The Vice President is a b*stard... that will be all.
I missed a few episodes...what does the brother have to do with anything? Palmer hadn't told him anything. Why did they try and take him out?
We haven't seen Palmer's brother since the first episode (maybe the 2nd, not sure when Jack went to the apartment), so we really don't know anything about the information he has... although I have an idea. I would imagine they tried to take him out to cover up who was really behind the plot to give the terrorists nerve gas, again I think I know who but I won't say. By the way, head to isohunt.com or torrentspy.com and download the episodes you missed!
I get the feeling that it's not the foreign terrorists that is trying to take Wayne out. Anyone find it suspicious that the VP lets him through to a protected area and then Wayne got people trying to take him out? Maybe the VP is working with Audrey's father in this terrorist threat and they think that Wayne knows something?
Of course, it's not the foreign terrorists trying to take Wayne out. He had to go through the roadblock which no one else was let through, and then a van just happens to pop out - the VP is behind it. Henderson is also in on it because in the preview for next week he asks if Palmer is dead yet. Anyways, I'll always have a slight grudge towards the show for takin' out Tony. I knew it was coming; I was expecting him to die in every episode he was in. Still, it's just not right, Tony was the man - as previously said, best character next to Jack. I can't wait to see what will be revealed with the Pandora's box of secrets Henderson referred to a few episodes back. Also, there is no way Audrey is dirty. The only logical explanation is that someone is framing her. It's got something to do with the VP and possibly even her dad, the secretary of defense. Then, after Jack doesn't believe her and interrogates her, she'll never forgive him. Their relationship is over after they get out of the interrogation room. And, I'm sure will see Stoller (the German agent) sometime again this season or next. The next attack by the terrorists will make use of all the remaining nerve gas and will somehow kill 200,000 people. What's in LA that have that many people around? The only thing I can think of is a water treatment plant, but then the never gas is only transmitted through the air and breathing... so I dunno... Anyone got any ideas?
Gosh. The first time I watch the show on a Monday night so I can join in the conversation the next day and no one responds? COME ON! Pretty good episode last night. Jack saves 200,000 people, but the twist on Audrey being a traitor kinda sucked. I know I shouldn't expect the obvious, but it's seemingly obvious right now. Next episode with Wayne will be interesting. Oh yeah, and of course Jack will live. BTW, what's up with that psycho new chick. Sure, she helps save the day by helping them find with plant was being used for the attack, but then she immediately goes into some sort of sexual harrassment rant against Buchanon?
Jack Bauer carries c4 in his messenger bag. I thought I was the only one. Looks like Walt Cummings had the last laugh.
A few thoughts: 1) So bummed that Audrey was not a traitor. She's the most boring character in the show's history, and she's gotten more air-time than Tony in the past two seasons. Annoying. Please let her die. Please. 2) Anyone else notice that Jack has picked up the "Vader Choke?" Love it. First on Kim's boyfriend, and now on Audrey. Only a matter of time before he twitches his finger, uses the force, and people die instantaneously. 3) Sexual Harrassment Girl is smoking hot. The show has needed someone of her hotness. Hope she sticks around. (as for the hand across the shoulder thing.... when Buchannan touched her, both my roommate and I said mockingly, simultaneously, "Hey, don't touch me there," and then she said it right after!!! We were on the floor laughing. Couldn't believe it.)
I'm not even sure if it's the VP. 24's known for some weird twists. I hope they don't do something drastic like turning Aaron around. On the other hand, I wonder if some complications will come with Audrey being injected with whatever she was injected with. Something's horribly fishy with that Burke character and how Henderson was able to get up just like that after being injected with that truth serum, etc. so many times. That new girl came in with everyone liking her because of that cocky idiot that came in from Homeland Security. That sexual harrassment suit would've been a great relief for anyone associated with CTU, and then ... THAt happened. Would it be a big twist if the VP turns out to not be a traitor or a schemist? Imagine how bad Logan's presidency would've been if the gas went out there while Marshall Law was in effect. The gas was supposed to invade people's home and people are forced to stay home....
