Great two-parter. Now Mike Nolan is the only minor character fav I've got left. Maybe Curtis and Buchanon.
Dude, how can you not like Secret Service agent Aaron Pierce.... also, Curtis is a badass, it is refreshing not having to see a good black actor in a dress ;-)
What an episode!!! I think what got people choked up is not just watching Edgar die, but the whole scenario with him and Chloe looking at each other. There was always something going on with those two, and I guess Chloe wouldn't have to tell her secrets to anyone anymore . At any rate, what an ending.... I still couldn't get it out of my head.
Even if I get past the stupidity which is Lynn about not reporting the keycard stolen so I would imagine it would be rendered useless and he would get a newly activated keycard, I have a problem with the following: The security system should be able to tell you if someone has already come in the building with a particular keycard so it cannot be used twice to gain access to the building(i.e. your already here so you cannot obviously come in again). This would not be allowed. We even have this where I work. You have to get your keycard reset before you can come in again if you haven't done a proper check-in/check-out. It wouldn't be some after-thought scenario where you have to pull up a computer and check if the keycard was used twice by checking some security logs. CTU security systems are a joke if that is the case.
Well, only one hot chick left on the show now.. and she doesnt even appear anymore. Jack, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to find and give airtime to more chicks with hot racks and apple bottoms. You have until 6am, good luck. P.S. The fat guy with the lisp always dies
Those two hours were classic 24. I didn't get bored once. Wonder who gets it next week. Tony's going to go off.
If anyone can get information out of Henderson, it is Tony now that he is sealed in a room with the guy that got his wife killed.... Some Almeda payback, I've been waiting all season for this!
Your logic is slightly flawed. Granted the security at CTU is a joke. He would have checked out when he went to go see his sister. But then ... how would he have checked back in? (which is a bigger question). Shouldn't his security access been revoked when he was sectioned 112 or whatever?? thats where i have trouble with security. But then again, if you had decent security, didn't have the little kid getting in your way, the abusee murdering the abuser who holds key info, it wouldn't be called 24 ... it would be called 12.
That was my problem as well. I worked in a tv station where when you walked out after your last shift, they terminated our key card access. Anyhow, how could they put him in holding with his keycard? He'd have the rights to just walk out if he had it. He should have had it either confiscated when he was put in holding, or cancelled.
You guys amaze me with your constant scrutiny on the "small things" in the world of 24... if they paid attention to the "small things" there would be no 24
however, i know of much more secure places that don't have your card-out of anything. it's only a card-in...which would mean you could card-in while already in. But as someone else already stated, the point is moot since he never carded in after having his crap stolen
Somehow the VP, Heller, and Henderson are part of the Cabal Group. but henderson possibly could be working for bierko or to be far-fetched Surbov (russian prez). henderson wont talk at all to jack. supposedly, i think he's a patriot to the U.S but he will let nerve gas be release on U.S soil. he's either holding something back REALLY REALLY important about the higher up officials, Bierko, or Surbov. also, possibly the conspiracy could had been going on since before season 1 and the conspiracy is showing its true colors this season
Yea...your right. I forget how he happened to get back in after he got robbed. Anyone remember? The security log should have shown him checking out to meet his sister and then never having checked back in until the bad guy used his keycard to get back in. But, Chloe clearly stated that he was already checked in when the bad guy checked in again...a double whammy check-in...RED ALERT! RED ALERT! Then, someone else brought up a good point about how he should have had his access revoked for being a nitwit and put in holding. So, I guess they don't have a check-out part to their security system. Even more ludicrous... . But, I digress. Stupid TV show. Yea...yea...we can pick this show apart all day long. I would have hoped it would have been a little more realistic on this particular part. I'm just going to turn my brain completely off from here on out.
Samwise probably pulled the old "Do you know who I am" routine when he checked in without his key card. A lowly security guard would probably not challenge him on that. And CTU overall due dilligence review of employees and security access is severely lacking. After the place was bombed a few years ago, you would think they would beef up security. I guess not enough people died then.
CTU is apparently not that much different from the real-life Homeland Defense Department. Their supposed to protect our nation but they can't even secure their own offices. In fact, it was on the news today that some guards were complaining at the Homeland Defense Department that security is lax.
For the sake of your furniture and carpet, I recommend peeing and pooping before you attempt this shutdown of the brain every Monday between 8-9.
Didn't skim to see if this has been mentioned. What is going on between Aaron and Mrs. Logan? Does Mike think Aaron is getting a little too friendly?
i also wonder what henderson meant by "opening pandora's box". one more tidbit, when jack saw the sunset before heading back to ctu, the flags werent at half-staff b/c of this person's death. possible foreshadowing anyone of upcoming events? i'm really starting to think season 5 is better than 1 and 4 (who most people think)
Mrs. Logan asked her assistant to send Aaron in to see her. When he came in, she said "I didn't get a chance to thank you for earlier" and took his hand. Mike walked in at that point to speak to the first lady and Aaron left. As Mike was leaving her room, Aaron told him that "nothing happened."
