    O.k, yeah I mostly made this thread just so I could list the Coogs with their USA Today ranking.

    I think that the improved Coog Defense posts a shutout against an undermanned Bye team, I don't know how well Case will hold up against the vaunted Bye week defense though.

    Actually, it's just that these coaches don't watch ball games. UH is still ranked in the AP poll though :)

    I don't follow UH much, 09 was the year we got ranked somewhere in the top 15 right (beating OKST)? Then had a pretty crap end to the season yes?

    I think they were high as 11 after beating Tech.

    They couldn't sustain it because of lack of depth. People got injured, and just didn't have the same level of talent to replace the injured players.

    I wouldn't blame the UTEP loss on lack of depth and injuries. It was more just the defense forgetting how to tackle.

    Seriously. I realize Baylor are historically indomitable world-beaters led by the risen Christ and all, but I like UH's chances. You'll change your tune, too, after we kick the **** out of BYE.
