The Spurs have lost half the number of games that we have. Oh, how I hate them.

If we beat everyone we have a better record than, we'd win 15 of our remaining games. That would make us 48-34. If we win the same percentage of games as we have all year, we're 44-38. If we win the rest of our home games and lose every game on the road, we end up 45-37.

Just an educated guess is that we finish with between 44 and 48 wins. Of course, this team has exceeded every other limit I put on it, so why not win 49-50?

Jinx? As pessimistic I and a lot of rockets fans are around here, we should have at least 10 championships if that jinx crap works

best to concentrate one game at a time.... The rockets sucked when playing games they thought they should have won... I'm happy enough if we can get into the playoff...

After the Mavs win, I took a look at the remaining schedule and played the predicting game. I came up with a 14-7 record for a final record of 47-35. That should be good enough for a playoff spot which would most likely be the 7th seed.

jinx = cause of misfortune. You can't reverse jinx(cause good fortune) with pessimism.

This comment is a little off topic, but totally unworthy of a thread. Did anyone else notice we don't have a single regular season Thursday game this season? Also, we had a back to back nearly every single Fri-Sat thus far.

I am thinking Thur may be for mostly Nat. games on TNT or something, but still NO Thursday games nearly 60 games in is kinda crazy. Oh well, TBH I prefer Fri-Sat games.

I predicted a 43-win season. I still stand by the prediction, although they look like they are going to exceed that a little bit, possibly 45 wins.
