Kaytron Allen looks solid but nothing that jumps off the screen.

Nicholas Singleton broke his foot before the Senior Bowl. Considering what we've been through with Mixon I am doubtful that Caserio will risk it here.

I listen to a lot of mock drafts and many prognosticators have us taking Kadyn Procter at 28. However, I also run a lot of my own mocks on PFN and PFF and he's never available at that spot. So, who do you believe?

Mocked my favorite one yet. I'm still really liking what happens when we grab a weapon in the first round if someone like Boston or Sadiq is there. There is a lot of desire to go DL or OL, but what follows is still solid and I love the upside of aggressively working to upgrade our weapons:

    28. Kenyon Sadiq - TE
    38. Monroe Freeling - OT
    59. Domonique Orange - DT
    69. Jonah Coleman - RB
    106. Keylan Rutledge - IOL
    128. Taurean York - LB (debated here with grabbing Pat Coogan for C, but hoped he'd last....alas....)
    165. Beau Stephens - IOL

Gravy picks for fun and alignment for whatever gaps coaches still think remain

    243. Aaron Anderson - WR
    244. Nadame Tucker - Edge

York vs. Coogan was my personal hardest choice as I think Coogan is that midround guy that could be an answer for us at center if we don't grab one in FA. But Sadiq continues to fall into our territory and not forcing a DL/OL, the board still played out nicely and it showed investment in top tier talent with him and Coleman as two of the top four picks while still securing needs later. Anderson could be a nice value pick at the end of the draft if someone like Sadiq didn't fall there.

Other times I've seen guys like Denzel Boston there at 28 and grabbing him did similar favors for us. Often then the choice of RB came at 59 (do you go Jadarian Price at the expense of a sliding OL/DL?) or do you pick for need and hope an RB you covet is still there at 69?

    28. Houston Texans
    Caleb Banks, IDL, Florida

Florida defensive tackle Caleb Banks was among the winners at this year's Senior Bowl. The Houston Texans are a natural fit for his toughness and production. The Texans could improve the interior of their defensive line, with a prospect like Banks supporting what Danielle Hunter and Will Anderson Jr. achieve on the edges.
