I like it, Bill. But if I'm the Chiefs, I'm keeping Love. Some NFC team better pick Love before the Chiefs. I would take that as a win.
He may not drop to our spot anymore, but he is the OG of OGs that you would draft early and change this OL. If you like interior OL play, this guy is fun to watch.
https://thedraftnetwork.com/2025/12/14/nfl-mock-draft-2026-december-14 22. Houston Texans Kadyn Proctor, OT, Alabama Protecting C.J. Stroud needs to be the Houston Texans' No. 1 priority this offseason and no one's job should be safe. Kadyn Proctor turned things around after some major struggles against Florida State to open the season and looks like the surefire first-rounder he was projected to be. Proctor is a mauler in the run game with plenty of size and starting experience.
updated draft picks: Houston at 22, 39th overall from WSH in the 2nd, 53rd overall(their own pick) in the 2nd, 66th pick from the Giants in the 3rd, and 108th in the 4th from WSH
For me Mauigoa is a no-brainer at 22 IF he's there, but I doubt that he will be. It's OBVIOUS that we are in desperate need of a high-quality coverage LB. Perhaps LB CJ Allen out of Georgia is our next guy at 39. I'm going back to the trenches for a guard for our third pick and with our fourth pick I'm taking a quality RB to pair up with Woody, although this pick could change if Jawhar shows out the rest of the way. Thereafter I'm adding depth at CB, S, IOL, and WR.
The Texans are in a great spot. Those are 5 picks that figure to be starters or at least rotation level players as soon as next season. I’d figure they’d focus on improving the OL, and might even combine some picks to move up for a guy they’ve targeted. The team is young and it can add some very talented rookies. Teams are built on 2nd and 3rd rounders. Guys that are not only really good players, but help teams stay in the budgetary constraints of the cap.
He sounds like a promising prospect, but we may need and want to find a LB that already possesses high-end pass coverage skills. Whit Weeks Linebacker LSU | NFL Draft Profile & Scouting Report https://share.google/e3NrlL1Oki8R4wcNT
He’s a good coverage linebacker, zone instincts are a plus. Top tier athlete and instincts overall. If he didn’t get hurt he’s a first round talent
Love Sonny Styles. Anthony Hill Jr or Sonny Styles and Demeco would have his QB of the defense for the next 10 years.
Ok, @K9Texan inspired me to do a mock draft. Only did one trade that added a 4th and kind of let the talent fall to me. NOTE: Pick positions were not updated from weekend, so a little off. First off, Fano slipping to us was a fantastic add to OL in 1st. I wasn't expecting to take a QB in Rd2, but he was the 9th rated prospect and I couldn't resist the value at 40. Figure with Davis probably out the door we could develop next backup or potential trade. Washington likely goes before this, but Delp at the Top of 3rd was intriguing add. Weeks is solid LB add in 4th, while Williams (from Dickinson) is a raw talent with basketball athleticism that could be developed at G/T. Coleman is a bowling ball with instincts that could add to our run game. In 6th, Red Murdock is one of my late rd favs, hybrid LB who has crazy good athleticism and production. Slaughter gives us a proven C to compete and Brooks some depth at safety (from Shiner).
Davis Mills has another year on his contract and did his job and went 3-0 will Stroud is out. I don’t think he should go anywhere.
I would pick him at 4-108. Maybe even at 3-66 depending on the way the draft falls. More likely I would pick Price at 3-66 and trade back into the 3rd for Weeks. That would give Caserio 5 top 100 players in this draft and still have 4-129.
