Feb is a different style of OL than Rutledge, but I dig the pick. Scheme fit, super smart, humble football path, very talented pass blocker. Probably a more natural OC than Rutledge long term given that he is more of a wall blocker than drive blocker.
My hope is the trade back is our way of wanting one more late round body, but an unwillingness to trade any 2027 assets. That is smart. I'm ok sliding back to pick up another player at this point but I will be really annoyed if we trade anything 2027 at this point.
Could even be trying to extract a 2027 late round pick if there is a buyer for one of the last 2 picks.
Wade Woodaz is the Texans pick. A linebacker from Clemson. I knew the Texans were interested in Wade, but I didn't believe he was going to be drafted.
Almost feel like this guarantees they were targeting Randall later. We'll see if he's there. I will say while I'm glad we did focus on both sides of the line, I'm nervous that we again left weapons behind and any injury will expose the lack of depth on that side of the ball. If we were going defense, would have preferred the Bears' pick and gone with Muhammad.
Booooooooo! You once again decided to prioritize everything but a quality rushing game. Mediocre madness.
Ooh so now you’re going to question Demeco’s ability to pick the right fits for his D, when he all have been homeruns?
