It doesn't matter. Everything else checks out at like B+/A+ level. As a lead guard. And he's the most athletic one.
handles and shooting have to be elite if you are 6’2” with a 6’3” wingspan. Does he have those elite skills?
He is a hyper athletic 3 level scorer with vision, motor and and insane stopping ability. Yes he has those skills. His wingspan is irrelevant. He isnt a 3 and D small forward.
So outside of his wingspan, elite. he's going early in the draft. Same with Cenac. that kid has way too much potential to go in the late 20s like some mocks had him going. Now i just need a couple of teams to fall in love with Emanuel Sharp and Milos Uzan to help push the UH agenda in the pros.
well guard wingspan is key. It’s why a guy like Donovan Mitchell is so good at 6’3”. It helps disrupt passing lanes and help get steals. It helps finishing around the rim. It’s beneficial no matter the position. But that’s great if Flemings has the handles and shooting. Sounds like there’s a lot of great guard options in the 5-7 pick spots
Yeah the Top 7 could all produce All Stars/Superstars. It is possible the best player isnt even drafted in the Top 3. Then you have some *major* upside swings in Mara and Cenac (who both might have the best measurements at the combine). Ament, Wagler and Yaxel as well as potential "Knueppel" types. Man I hope the Rockets trade into the Top 10 here.
I hope Stone drafts Emmauel Sharpe with one of the 2nd round picks. Hustles, plays hard on D, and a sharpshooter.
