Goes to show your character. A convicted felon, pedophile adulter who dodges draft is somehow better than kamala. Treat politics like a sport where u would back conservatives no matter how shtty a candidate they are. Using your own words Its ok. I promise. You can say Trump sucks balls. You won't get disowned by the conservatives. Kinda sad that a decent amount of our fellow americans think the same way as u. That they would still vote Trump over kamala even with hindsight.
Trump has cost the auto industry billions upon billions of dollars with his tariff bs. Considering they likely donated to his PACs and voted for him, they really shot themselves in the feet. I honestly don’t know how they are still in business.
It's ok. I respect your right to vote for whomever you please. That is the difference between me and most liberals like yourself. I judge a person based on the moral character, not on who they voted for, their race, religeon, gender, sexual preference, ect...
It isn't about the party you vote for. It's about the person you support. Supporting a person that lacks and morality shows you are lacking in the same.
I judge folks based on who they voted for bc they choose that person to represent them. If u judge a piece of sht like trump is still better than kamala even with hindsight what does it tell folks about your sense of moral judgement? You support a guy who has multiple wives, commits adultery, lies all the time, dodges draft, hooks up with prostitutes, racist, pedophile and a criminal over kamala. Something wrong with your ability to judge folks based on moral character. Its weird seeing folks double down on defending a piece of sht like trump and then talk about moral judgement.
Over in Georgia, some billionaire named Rick Jackson decided to run for Governor. He's spending way more money than everyone else combined and is buying up so much airtime that other Republican candidates cannot get their ads on. https://www.politico.com/news/2026/04/15/rick-jackson-georgia-governor-billionaire-00872242
I can get not liking or supporting Kamala Harris. She certainly would not be my choice by a long shot. However - Donald Trump is the most destructive and incompetent President in 150 years or more.
I posted this elsewhere, but if Talarico can pull off the Senate upset in 2026, I believe he immediately becomes the frontrunner in 2028.
This does not bode well for the midterms. "Significantly detached from reality." www.propublica.org Inside Trump’s Effort to “Take Over” the Midterm Elections Doug Bock Clark and Jen Fifield 30-37 minutes Reporting Highlights Safeguards Destroyed: In advance of this year’s midterm elections, President Donald Trump has systematically demolished federal guardrails that prevented him from overturning the 2020 election. Changing of Guard: At least 75 career staff are gone. Two dozen appointees, including many from the election denial movement, have been hired. Ten helped try to overturn the 2020 vote. Political Interference: Once-fringe actors now have access to vast powers, which they’ve already used to push forward unprecedented actions that critics say amount to partisan interference. These highlights were written by the reporters and editors who worked on this story. In mid-December 2020, federal officials responsible for protecting American elections from fraud converged in a windowless, dim, fortified room at the Justice Department’s downtown Washington, D.C., headquarters. They had been summoned by Attorney General William Barr. Over the preceding weeks, Donald Trump’s claims that the presidential election had been stolen from him had reached a crescendo. He’d become obsessed with a conspiracy theory that voting machines in Antrim County, Michigan, had switched votes from him to Joe Biden. With each day, Trump ratcheted up the pressure to unleash the might of the federal government to undo his defeat. Barr interrogated experts from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, crammed in beside top FBI officials around a cheap table. He needed the group of around 10 to answer a crucial question: Was it really possible the 2020 presidential vote had been hacked? ProPublica’s description of the previously unreported meeting comes from several people who were in the room or were briefed on the gathering. Everyone understood that the meeting represented an important moment for the nation, they said. Barr, who did not respond to requests for comment, had walked a delicate line with Trump, instructing the FBI to investigate allegations of election irregularities while declaring publicly there had been no evidence “to date” of widespread fraud. The nonpartisan specialists from CISA, backed by their FBI counterparts, explained they’d unravelled what had happened in Antrim County. A clerk had made a mistake when updating ballot styles on machines, leading to a software problem that initially transferred votes from Republicans to Democrats, they said. There was no fraud, just human error — which would soon be publicly confirmed through a hand count of the county’s ballots. Listening intently, Barr seemed to understand both the truth and that telling it to the president would almost certainly cost him his job. At the end of the meeting, Barr turned to his top deputy, made hand motions as if he was tying on a bandana and said he was going to “kamikaze” into the White House. What happened next is well known. When Barr met with Trump in the Oval Office on Dec. 14, the president launched into a monologue about how the events in Antrim County were “absolute proof” that the election had been stolen. Barr waited to get a word in edgewise before telling his boss what the experts from CISA had told him. Then Barr offered his resignation letter, which Trump accepted. Barr left believing he’d done his part to preserve democratic norms. “I was saddened,” Barr wrote of Trump in his memoir. “If he actually believed this stuff he had become significantly detached from reality.” full article at the link: Inside Trump’s Effort to “Take Over” the Midterm Elections — ProPublica
I don't think so. He's still a relatively unknown nationally and winning a Senate seat for the first time since Lloyd Bentsen and then immediately (it would need to be immediate) going into a presidential race after campaigning for so long in Texas would be taxing at best. It would also be a Cruz move and I think Talarico is a wee bit more grounded than ol' Ted. Plus, he is still very young. It would be foolish to flame out nationally in 2028.
again, lets break this nuanced conversation down. i voted for trump because 1) he was to put Issacman in charge of NASA 2) pro free market AI and c) he wasnt anti bitcoin. he has delivered on all three so far for me. The rest f the stuff idgaf about. that is the difference between me and most liberals like yourself - i dont have to blindly and stupidly lock step to a political party ideology. Trump is a buffoon. A buffoon who delivered on my three most important issues, but still an idiot. Harris is an idiot too. And she would have delivered nothing but more chaos for me. so again, i respect your choice for who you voted for.
