My prediction is Arizona vs. Michigan in the Finals. They are, in my opinion, the two best teams in the nation. Arizona wins it all.
IIRC Arizona are meeting Michigan in the Final Four (Semis).....so Arizona can only play Duke, Illinois, UConn in the Final. Same side of the bracket unfortunately......
Watching Duke lose in such heartbreaking fashion was so awesome! I cannot believe what I just saw. This UConn team isn't as good as their last two championship squads. They definitely have imperfections and didn't always make the right play during the comeback, but they are as relentless as ever. They just refused to die. Besides UH beating them last year, this is my favorite Duke game ever.
UConn did just about everything to lose that game over the last minute+ But they didn't lose. That was awesome. The only thing that sucked about that game was that UConn's douchebag Hurley coach didn't also lose.
Not the Final Four I expected. I have Illinois over UConn, Arizona over Michigan (maybe} and Arizona over Illinois. It would be absolutely CRAZY if UConn or Illinois wins it all.
The game itself reminds me of IU/Kentucky in 2011 when Christian Watford hit a buzzer beater to beat #1 ranked Kentucky. IU made way more bone-headed mistakes the last 10 mins than UConn. After that game, John Calipari used extortion and tried to force IU into changing the rivalry from alternating home courts to playing at neutral sites (I guess so he could use the games in Indianapolis to recruit). When IU refused, Cal canceled the series and it did not resume until just this season (last December), a year after he left Kentucky. This is only one of the reasons I have passionately despised Calipari over the years. The national call. THE BEST CALL!
Hurley shoulda got a tech for that stupid thug **** he pulled on the ref. They should’ve lost because of it. Disgraceful.
Sick of the Boozer Bros. They are making millions in commercials. They are good at basketball, but they mostly have "money" instead of rings. Would they really be that high profile without their father's reputation?
Yes. lol. Cam Boozer has always been regarded as that good. He's won and been the best player in FIBA competitions, high school (won one or two state championships, I think), McDonald's All-American (he was one of the MVP's), player of the year according to various organizations/publications, etc. The dude is fundamentally awesome. He's much better than his dad. Kind of like a Shane Battier with stats and a wee bit of athleticism. Now watch him suck in the NBA.
