Wouldn't the league have rather had a competitive series between the Rockets and Wolves? I haven't watched a minute of NBA basketball since the lottery BS but I might have had the Rockets still been in it. In fact I would have accepted it.

Nope, it is ordained that a Rockets Warriors series will always be called in favor of the Warriors in all critical facets that threaten the advancement of Golden State. Yes Donkey Green and company are allowed to deploy liberal physical methods of defense that shall only be deemed fouls 33% or less of the time while any touch violation by the Rockets deemed fouls 88% of the time. Those rules are set in stone for any Rockets Warriors showdown. Deal with it !

SGA vs Edwards is going to be special. Can't remember another shooting guard matchup like that so late in the playoffs. Something like a Kobe vs McGrady matchup that never was.

I remember Shaq and Kobe against Iverson and Mutombo in the Finals.

The first game Iverson put up a 48 point game.....but sadly was the only game.

A couple of HoF SG vs. HoF SG matchups

2000 Reggie Miller & Kobe Bryant, finals, 6 game series
    Reggie 24.3 ppg, 22 assists
    Kobe 15.6 ppg, 21 assists (pre-prime Kobe)

1998 Reggie Miller & Michael Jordan, EC finals, 7 game series
Reggie 17.4 ppg (Reggie got Pippened, to an extent)
    MJ 31.7 ppg

I didn't remember Kobe being so green in those Finals. He did have 1 game that he showed what he was capable of when Shaq fouled out. Reggie is so underrated historically, but it ain't easy to prove it because his stats and accolades aren't there. His announcing ain't helping either.

Game 4, the overtime game. The difference between the series being 2-2 instead of 3-1. Shaq fouled out at the end of regulation and it was within reach...
