Need to look at Noelvi Marre if the Correa deal does not happen especially with him now also playing corner OF
The problem with going after guys on teams who are also buyers is that they want guys who are ready to help them now. With all our injuries, we have very very few of those that we can give up and still be helping ourselves
Correa for me. Would be a big big get. Hes clutch when it matters. Im big about leadership and culture and after his post scandal interview in spring training… he deserved to be the an Astro for life. Bring him back and let’s win a few more in to the sunset.
I've been thinking why don't the Astros let Cam play third and then try to trade for an impact OF, preferably a LHH? I know Cam is killing it in RF and you don't want to just throw him all over the place in his rookie year, but with paredes injury it might give you flexibility in the type of trades you can execute.
Sandy Alcantara 2025: $17.3 large (age 29) 2026: $17.3 large (age 30) 2027: $21.0 large (age 31), team option 2024: injured 2025: WAR: -1.3 IP: 109 ERA: 6.36 Miami will need to eat some salary (like of the remaining 2025, at minimum)
I'm not a doctor, nor to I pretend to be one.But is is normal to misdiagnose something as severe as a torn hamstring as a strain? Sucks, but the writing has been on the wall with him for a few days. All the requisite smoke was there that he was done for the season.
I think what happened is it was diagnosed as a minor strain when it was just a moderate strain, then he tore an already compromised muscle. Hindsight is what it is but obviously everybody wishes he’d just rested it instead of trying to play through it.
