Man, they should partner with Whataburger for this promo, the Jumbo Jack is so bad and every Jack in the Box that I have been to in the past decade is a dirty dump......................but I admit I still like the mystery meat tacos
Jacob Wilson wasn't the A's rookie you had to worry about, it's Astros destroyer Nick Kurtz and his insane 1.052 OPS.
.250 to .260 so far this year means he rakes 2h with us. Prollie .357 for heem and gonna make errrrybody around heem mid .350 batters as well. Won't lose another game for a full millennium. So there's that.
I've never seen a season get torpedoed by a bad medical staff, but here we are. There is something systematically wrong with the way the medical staff handles their initial intake, diagnosis, imaging, treatment, and rehab. We currently have three guys on the shelf that are out and will continue to be out for an extended time due to reaggravation of injuries: Yordan - was ramping up then ended up taking batting practice with a broken effing hand. Meyers - missed short time with a calf injury, then reaggravated in a much more severe way while warming up. Out indefinitely. Paredes - missed short time with a hamstring injury. the reaggravated in a much more severe way running to first. Out indefinitely. You can't tell me these guys injuries weren't mishandled from the jump. Given the track record of initial bad imaging (Pena's rib isn't fractured...never mind yeah it is, we JUST saw Yordan has a fracture after two months), that they missed the initial severity of these injuries and made them worse by running these guys out prematurely.
If Dubin has a setback in his rehab... that should be the nail in the coffin for the entire medical staff's careers...
The other two, yes. Paredes came back, played at full speed for several weeks, and then injured the other hamstring the 2nd time. There's not really any evidence that's on the medical staff.
At first I was like what a clown. But then it was mentioned that Hummel has a auto collection so then it became funny.
I downed 14 of those bad boys for lunch the other day. I had my assistant get them for me on her way back from lunch - she asked if she could sit in my office and watch me eat, as she didn’t think I could do it. I can’t eat like that often but when the mood strikes I’ll lay em down.
