He is an extreme talent, but he had his 2nd chance and blew it. I'm not saying "no" but it would have to be under extreme conditions that other teams would not expect, so he would go to one of them. I would make him pitch an entire season in AAA without any incidents while going to multiple counsellings - self, anger management, couples (if he is in a relationship), AA and/or NA if there is a history ( not sure, didn't look) etc. And then let him compete for a spot on the parent club the following spring. Of course it would need to be a fully voidable deal. He would choose to go somewhere else. Of course if he did agree to all that it would impress me because he is sure to have easier options.
Urias??? If you're swingin that way focus on Bauer Setup by a sociopath , has far more talent and has distance from the incident which was egged on by a willing participant
Blah blah We need talent to compete with cheaters like the Dodgers If you read the actual docket it's completely different to cut and dry stuff like Osuna and urias
**** that. Trevor Bauer is a piece of **** and anybody white knighting for him is an idiot. Important note: you can still be a piece of **** without technically being a criminal.
i agree that someone can be a piece of **** without being a criminal. However, that does not explain the advocacy for Urias, who is a piece of **** and an actual criminal. If you are caught twice beating your wife/girlfriend, I would prefer the Astros had nothing to do with you
Was McCullers shut down again? https://motociclismo.pt/en/astros-f...ely-after-dazzling-first-pitches-in-868-days/ DD
AI generated bulls!!t from a rando foreign motorcycle magazine is my go-to Houston Astros news source, for sure.
I just googled McCullers news and that is what popped up, and it was the reason I came here to ask. No need to be a jerk, oh wait, that is your thing. Thanks for the assist, I figured it was fake, or a mix up about Garcia - but also thought here folks would know. DD
So my biggest fear this year is the rotation. I like our 5 well enough, but who is the next man up right now? And who is #7 Who does Dana think is ready enough so that he didn’t feel the need to add any depth there We certainly should know we ain’t going 162 with 5 guys
Yep. He'd probably be back in MLB if it was just about that case. But he's just a real POS and pattern of behavior that makes teams not want him. Urias is a 2-time violator and caught on video. Doubt he gets back. Osuna has never made it back and is essentially forgotten.
our AAa options are pretty good this year. Lots of guys with higher end arm talent who need some run. I think that’s why we haven’t seen a move for an inning eater. Also not counting on McCullers Javier and Garcia, but we could get some innings there.
Right, but who? Let’s say next week we lose a pitcher, which could easily happen. Who steps in, who is ready
