He's definitely smart enough, he played well at all three IOL positions today.

Grant, Zabel all perfect for Yesterdays offense or Chip's. Under 310lbs.

This year's class is supposed to be deep for DT's and Nick might not want to use a 1st on a guard or a second-tier receiver. Do any of you think that he might use our first on a DT?

Mitchell Evans from ND too. He got hurt last year but is a talented weapon that didn’t have a good throwing QB this year.

I’d also suggest another idea could be kicking the tires on Michael Mayer with the Raiders. Bowers was awesome for them but Mayer isn’t a slouch, just stuck behind him.

If the class is deep for DTs , does that not mean you grab one in the later rounds?

I would definitely give up a 3rd for Mayer and draft a guy like Evans or Luke Lachey in the 5th.

Mayer would be such a blocking upgrade in the WCO. He's sure handed too.

Still give me Booker or Donovan Jackson at 1-25.

Cody Stoots, covering the senior bowl, tweeted that BDN and Meco have shown most enthusiasm on Devin Neal, running back @ Kansas.

40% of draft picks make a cameo at the Senior bowl .
Players who rose stock after Senior Bowl last year:
    Ladd
    Xavier Legette
    Quinyon Mitchell
    Ricky Pearsall

I wanted Neal last year but then he took his name out of the draft and went back to school. No way he's there when we pick.

Possibly. The way I read it is that there will be a DT available to us at #25 that in any other draft wouldn't be. In doing my own mocks I see Tyleik Williams as the highest rated DT projected to be available to us.

This mock out today has us taking DT Kenneth Grant out of Michigan. He's a great talent and it would be tough to pass on him if he's available when we pick.

Never like Bucky's drafts, love his weekend radio show though. I blame him for starting the Texans take Wilson at 3 and Levis at 12 panic when Meco specifically said we like 2 of the quarterbacks.

Trigger words from Meco that do not lie:
    Swarm
    Leader
    Separator
Hair on fire, that's three words .

I bet he's there in the 4th rd.

I also hope Brashard Smith is there in the 4th rd as well.
