Let’s say a run goes on OL as someone above feared, the play is not to get cute and trade up for fear. If position players slide, we trade up for one of them falling, not an OL in my opinion. Say a player like Tyler Warren slides, yes, that’d be a fun guy to go up a bit to grab. If we do that, we ideally hold on to 2-58 and then go for OL there. We could do a lot worse than that and only finding ourselves ending tomorrow with fewer picks and our 5th rated OL because of panic.
Daniel Jeremiah might have some of the better sources within the NFL. He correctly predicted the Texans trading up to #3 to select Anderson right after selecting Stroud at #2 in his final mock draft the day before.
Dang...draft is already tomorrow. I'm going in blind and hoping for some killer analysis to read here.
Considering our deficiencies at OL, WR, TE, and depth at RB, I think we need all of our picks in this draft and 26'. I hope we hold onto them.
I just love how Nick thwarts the networks by trading out of the networks planned commercial breaks when Houston picks. Networks fight back by going to an extended break anytime they see, "Houston is on the clock."
How can I possibly get enough sleep today to make it through 3 1/2 hours of monotony starting at 7PM?
Brugler mock 25. Houston Texans: Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State Because of his medicals and interviews, Simmons is another first-round wild card. But his talent is first-round worthy, and Houston will be looking for a potential long-term answer at left tackle. Banks to 6. Raiders Zabel to 13. Dolphins Booker to 17. Bengals Golden to 18. Seahawks Conerly to 31. Chiefs
