Kawhi did what he needed to do in G1. He closed the game out making plays on both ends. He went at Gordon for two huge baskets instead of getting a switch and allowing the Nuggets to trap him. Jokic is putting up numbers,but the Clippers are taking him out of his game. He was turning the ball over because the Clippers seem to know his next move. That has to be Van Gundy. Jokic will have to go to his third and fourth options because the Clippers have the first two covered. He even missed free-throws. If Porter Jr. is hurt, the series will stop being this entertaining. He seemed to be saying his shoulder popped. Westbrook is due to turn into Westbrick. They don't want to have to rely on him. Next game has to be a Harden-Powell game for the Clippers. You could expect Kawhi to be great again, but today he was unreal.

I agree with that. The Knicks are an unnatural creation where you have players that are more gifted offensively than defensively, but with Thibs as coach. It's like Frankenstein's monster where a different head has been transplanted on a body and the fit is bad.
That is why the record matters, Clippers and Nuggets wearing themselves out gives more rest to a Thunder team for example. And Thunder having better benches than Clippers and Nuggets and no Westbrook.
