Jabari and Reed were supposed to be those dead eye shooters. Instead brooks had a career year from 3

Pacers did it again. Olajuwon, Magic, and Haliburton have all had crowd silencers in the finals. Making the ending dramatic, but quiet, and kinda odd. Good for the Pacers. America is rooting for u.

I turned it off when OKC had a large lead. The Pacers looked cooked. They won?

I turned it on when I see Pacers down but within striking distance in the 4th. Haven't you learnt about them by now?

Would be cool if they keep their horseshoe up their ass for 3 more games just to deny shai, this is the most absurd/lucky/fluky team since the 23 heat (east gonna east i guess).

OKC got humbled tonight. Love to see it. Even with all those draft assets, would love to see them implode and make some stupid move this summer if Indy wins a championship.

Stole the words out my mouth.

    I turned it off.

    Wait, THEY WON?!

For those who missed it like me:

Not his classic “BANG!” but Mike Breen is so good,

C'mon OKC, don't choke this away...

The last thing we need is for OKC to lose and come back extra-determined to win next year. I'd rather have them satisfied with a championship and less motivated for next year.

Amen learned how to guard the step back. And I think that's what you gotta do when that's in the bag of the shooter.

OKC losing helps us. You get a sort of confidence when you become champ, a certain swagger. I think the phrase in Boxing is that becoming champion makes you better. I believe it. It's like Rudy T says, never underestimate the heart of a champion. I think there are championship intangibles, whether having them makes you a champion or the other way around, chicken or egg, but I do bet you have a certain confidence that you will always win. Draymond talked a bit about this, this kind of feeling that no matter where you are in the series or game you believe you'll win.

Put it simply, many teams make one finals and never go back again.

OKC could lose and then make a desperate move that makes them worse. I don't think winning will sate them, it'll make them want another and believe they can get another. Losing might make them start to doubt each other.

So yeah, I'm hoping they lose, but I also said before this series any ways that the Pacers are being disrespected. I feel like they get better as a series goes on too so I think OKC is already in major trouble. They played stifling defense and still could not put them away and the Pacers weren't really all that amazing tonight...but give Carlisle more time and watch them hum. I think they are going to figure out OKCs defense so OKC needs every game in the pocket they can get before that happens.
