Maybe misplaced respect to some extent? OKC has been very beatable on the road, all playoffs long. They have not even one road win where they beat tonight's spread of 6.5. They haven't won any road game by more than 6 points, and their 6 point win was against Memphis playing without Ja.

4-4. All 4 losses have been by 9 or more

    won by 6 vs. Grizz
    won by 2 vs. Grizz
    lost by 9 vs. Nuggets
    won by 5 vs. Nuggets
    lost by 12 vs. Nuggets
    lost by 42 vs. Wolves
    won by 2 vs. Wolves
    lost by 9 vs. Pacers

For OKC, this is the Denver series all over again. Their season is on the line in game 4. Can they repeat the process by beating the Pacers in a nasty grindfest? Can J-Dub and Chet level up?

Can the Pacers bring a killer instinct, play stifling defense and have one or two players erupt? Can they wear OKC down and dominate the 4th quarter by continuing to push tempo and throwing bodies at them?

Unfortunately, I must attend a function tonight and won't be able to watch the game. GRRR!

I had gifted my wife, back on Valentine's Day, 2 tickets to a play.

A play performance that was at the same time as Game 6 of the Knicks-Pacers series.

    Good thing that...
    1) the box office let me trade the tickets for 2 tickets to an afternoon production
    2) there happened to be 2 (and only 2) decent tickets left for the afternoon show
    3) the wife, while not a big sports fan, understood (maybe since he Dad and brother were Cowboys fans, from Dallas)

I married above my station in life!

They already get away with pushing off the defender with the off arm every time that they drive. Then the announcers rave about Hartenstein's picks, and you see him grab the guy that he's screening almost every time to keep him from either going under or going over.

When they concentrate, the Pacers are an elite offensive team. You can look back through finals history, and this group can score on just about anyone.

What is this..10 free throws for OKC so far? You know what the league is doing assigning their fixer to this game.

I don’t think OKC has been called for one foul yet.

Refs making sure OKC wins this one. 9 FTs for OKC already, and the quarter is not even over.

    NBA zebras are a scam.

Good news is that Shai is still working too hard for shots. OKC has not solved the problem. But one thing I don't like is the Pacers all too often fall off Shai when other players are driving, and at some point, that could be fatal. Stick to him like glue.

Shameless. They don't even care what people think anymore. As blatant as gifting the Mavs the #1 pick for trading Luka to LA.

Hali's defensive improvement is pretty impressive tbh. Really does show how much defense is predicated on effort.

It's wild how blatant this sketchy whistle is, the NBA actually has no shame at this point.

Since Fred is likely back next season, they need to cut his minutes and tell him to push the pace instead of the Slow Motion stuff that he prefers.

This season, Haliburton played 33.6 MPG and the older Fred played 35.2 MPG.

Brooo TJ… what a story. The fact he’s still in the league and producing at a high level is INSANE.
