Maybe, I agree it's a little too much of an amazing coincidence against the odds lol. It's still a business at the end of the day.

This wasn't merely a bad trade. It was a perplexing, vexing, head-scratching trade that was viewed to be the worst trade of all time in any sport, leading everyone to wonder what's in this trade for the Mavs. Well, now we know.

Maybe with this combine measurement he falls to the Rockets? lol. He's been listed at 6'10". Ouch.

I mean yea I agree. I don't think those missed 3s were aided by some weird nefarious tech. But I wouldn't be surprised anymore if in some regular season games where no one cares, the NBA helps their golden child Steph with some extra help on his shots. I mean, I was never a believer of ball/rim magnet crap... but this league has pushed all of our suspicions way too far now.

Also, technically we didn't miss 27 straight threes if the refs actually officiated the game fairly. That Harden 4 point play that was called off destroyed all our momentum - otherwise we would have coasted to a boring win in a closeout game. Of course Adam Silver and the NBA had other plans.

He's a tough defensive role player from what I've seen, he's definitely excellent as a big switching to defend guards and can move his feet. I'd like other options in that range ahead of him. But he'll likely make a rotation and contribute somewhere. He's not bad if other options are picked, but not my first choice

I feel like Rockets best avenue to a true first option is to continue to draft; and any trade should only be up for draft spots.

Cooper won't be the defensive prospect Amen is. Nor the offensive dynamo (in transition) that Amen is. He also has worse vision. He's just more well rounded. Like a bizarro Amen Thompson.

I think most people admit that they completely whiffed on the Amen Thompson pre-draft projections.

Pels gift AD to the Lakers. Get generational prospect. Mavs gift Luka to the Lakers. Get generational prospect. Just wild.

Agreed. There's no point in trading the pick away for a vet.

The game is not rigged although sometimes they tend to extend some series or call it one-sided but thats any sport.... The politics, ratings, agenda behind the scenes is definitely rigged. Its business first

This reminds me of when Dan Gilbert threatened to sue the league when he lost Lebron to Miami. He was going to file tampering charges against Miami but didn't.

Cleveland won the number one pick in the next three out of four drafts. Think about the odds. The one year they didn't is when NO won the number one pick after losing AD to the Lakers.
