No choice but to trade it now that Dallas and SA ( Giannis or KD incoming) will have their big 3s.

That drawing they show is a farse the only way they could do that is if they went back to one ping pong ball per team its weighted now so the worse teams have multiple balls in the bin so the odds of them getting the same team multiple times would screw up the broadcast.

You see this garbage and then you wonder why nobody is watching the playoffs right now. I mean NOBODY. They tried to get GS in for the Cali market but this is blowing up in their face with the Curry injury. Cleveland is imploding. They will likely push NY or Boston the rest of the way through now. They don't want OKC to win it all.

I think they are going to want a big, not a guard for Giannas. Spurs don't have any quality bigs.

Mitch Johnson is their coach. Wemby is on borrowed time. Guys that tall don't last long.

It would have been a little statistically surprising if the Rockets jumped the lottery again. I hope people realize that. Rockets never out-and-out won, but Jalen Green and Jabari Smith IIRC were both moves into the top three from outside.

That said the Mavs winning smells like week old fish.

We probably need to do a few 2-for-1 or 3-for-1 trades at this point to whittle down the roster a little. Right now whomever they take at #10 probably gets lost in the crowd, especially if they are a wing guy. If they don't move one or two guys any wing they draft will just get buried at the bottom of the bench. Maybe some space at C or PG, but not a lot of room for anything else.

Just take BPA, we need cheap quality depth like Eason has been on his rookie deal.

I think for many of us, it's not just the coincidence of the Mavs winning, if this were the first time it happened people would just go. "Oh they are extremely lucky," but the coincidence has become a bit of a pattern I guess.

Dallas and Spurs will be better than PHX years to come so they’ll be on a hot seat to make drastic adjustments or make future pick more valuable, also BKN falling down to #8 missing out any key game changer draft player just made 2027 swap very valuable. If we stay put we’re likely to land two top picks in 2028 draft.

I have always thought the idea that the NBA lottery was rigged was laughable. The idea that you could get billionaire owners to fall in line as somebody gets gifted a talent like Wenbanyama that can add a billion dollars to your franchise's value seemed ludicrous to me, before we even factor in that if it were ever uncovered by a journalist, it could literally be a fatal blow to the NBA.

But that's just entirely too coincidental. I believe. None of us thought the Luka/AD trade made any sense. Well it makes a lot more sense if you're getting AD and Cooper Flagg back.

Also, worst possible outcome for Houston with #1 and #2 going to our division/interstate rivals.

I'm there with you. Something weird about all this. Then you have Lebron has been hinting he thinks things are rigged, and I don't know, either. My only thing is I haven't figured out how it could be rigged. lol.

way too many coincidences for the lottery not to be rigged

Pelicans gearing up to trade AD to the Lakers: Pelicans had the 8th worst record and the Lakers had the 11th worst record, and on lottery night the Pelicans jumped up to the 1st pick so they can be gifted Zion and the Lakers catapulted up to 4th to have more trade ammo

What are the odds that both of those teams would just so happen to jump up that many spots?

D-Rose is entering the draft, and the hometown Chicago Bulls jump up 8 spots in the lottery to get the 1st overall pick. How convenient

everyone knows Bron is heading back to Cleveland, and the Cavs just so happen to then jump up from 9th to 1st

Mavs trade Luka, and jump from 11th to 1st which had a 1.8% chance of happening

Just trade up with Dallas swapping picks 1 and 10 in exchange for Jalen Green. It wouldn’t even be their worst trade in 2025

Spurs have too many guys who need the ball. Fox, 20 plus shots a game. Castle will want his. Wemby will want his. Not worried.
