I'm guessing this a Caley pick. DeMeco knows what he needs on Defense and it has worked out very well for us. I like coaches who their system and know what they need. This gives me even more hope/confidence Caley is going to be equally as good on Offense as DeMeco has been on the other side.

His birth certificate first name is straight out of that Key and Peele sketch.

"Woody" definately qualiifes as a solid do-over by Grandma.

As long as he finds a hole better than Pierce then this will help. Pierce is the RB with the home run speed so kick returns is perfect for him.

I don’t like that we had to trade a 3rd next year and would have preferred an interior oline but other than that it’ll give Stroud someone who can bail him out if the oline collapses immediately

He was Woody for 7 years in a row for Halloween. That’s where he got that from.

Pierce's deal is if you tell him what hole to hit and say, "have at it" where he just reacts he's great.

The stretch/zone read stuff the texans switched to under Slowak was poison to him. If you make him wait for the play to develop and read the holes, he doesn't run with the same explosiveness at all.

Pierce is very good under exactly the right setup, and not quite so good under different schemes. He IS NOT a read-and-react runner. He has to hit the hole as quickly and decisively as possible to be effective. No ZBS.

His future depends on what sort of running scheme the OC choses to use.

"Trikweze" is the best one I've seen this draft.

I love this pick, under rated and undervalued but he is a DAWG who needs to prove his worth................a true RB who is a beast catching the football out of the back field

I noticed the Rams took a RB (Jarquez Hunter) immediately after the Texans traded up and picked Marks. Like, they were announcing the Texans pick and the Rams pick was in. I'm guessing the Texans were worried the Rams would snatch him, hence the trade?
