Still pissed we trade the 89th pick to the Jags. Could have just drafted Wyatt Milum. Would have been perfect to have 2 WRs a T and a G.

Yeah - I am not sure what they are doing on the line.

It is concerning to me - but I am far from an OL coach.

The guys who really do it for a living are employed by NFL teams

I hope they're right about Smith and the QB, every other pick checks out to me, as an expert

I thought especially with this selection, the Texans handled it masterfully.

They traded down from 25 and got the 34 and 99 picks. Selecting the guy they very well may have selected at 25.

then they drafted Ersery by trading down from 58 with the sweetener obtained in the initial trade down from 25.

Supposedly the Texans mulled between The WR and the OL selection at 34; but elected to go with the WR.

Ersery is a top of the 2nd round talent and will push the other guys on the team. The feeling is that he has the tools to take over LT in a year or two…

i think Fisher may compete for Guard. Robinson would be a starting tackle

Yeah I just didn't know where to place him. I for sure think Robinson is starting with his price tag. Maybe Fisher is the swing tackle this season? I read somewhere that he's not a good fit at Guard but I could obviously be wrong.

The question is still what Tackle position do they put Ersery and Robinson.

Looks like Ersery is going to start out at RT. I'm betting he beats out Fisher, but doubt he heats out a healthy Trent Brown.

IF Trent could stay healthy, we'd have a tough OLine but I just don't see that happening.

IT says he will start off playing tackle, not that he will START at tackle.

Basically it means they will work him at tackle not guard.

    In rookie camp = tackle

When rest of team shows = wherever

Respectfuly some.of you guys are getting a little carried away IMO. Cam Robinson is the left tackle if healthy, period.

Blake Fischer is every bit the stud prospect that Ersery is/was and has a full year under his belt.

There's been a lot of post draft hype on Ersery and I think it might be skewing perceptions a bit. Its normal for very good tackle prospects to not play much their first year if it can be helped, and in this case it definately can be helped, baring a bunch of injuries.

If the expectation was that he could come in and dominate from the word go, he'd have been drafted at the top of the 1st round.
