SEC paid actors (ESPN pundits) already trying to sell Ty Simpson as the Heisman leader. I don’t see it. Dude is just another in a long line of past Alabama game managers. AJ, Mac and Greg to be specific.
The Illinois game really opened my mind on how much better IU was this year compared to last year. Their O-line and D-line are at another level. Mendoza is also clearly an improvement over Rourke at QB. Today, I expected Oregon to bring them down to earth, but IU showed they have enough strength in the trenches to beat anyone. I didn't think any team in CFB could put that kind of 2nd half whipping on UO at Autzen. The TD drive right after the pick-6 makes this win even sweeter. What a time for IU football! With the additional $100+ million windfall on the way, they should be able to keep Cignetti and spend what they need to going forward to continue this run of excellence.
Indiana is legit, I like watching them play. Their remaining schedule is paper soft too: MichSt UCLA @Maryland @PennSt Wisconsin @Purdue
He’s a lot more mobile than any of those guys. He’s also been red hot over the last few weeks. There’s 100% an avenue for him winning it, especially because nobody else has really taken a huge lead.
Going into today, sportsbettors who are not influenced by ESPN had Simpson tied for 3rd in the race. The Oregon QB was #1 but lost today, so Simpson might tied for 2nd tomorrow. Heisman Trophy Odds & Betting Favorites For 2025 | BetMGM
Auburn just got robbed of a touchdown right before the half. I cannot believe the replay officials missed the obvious. Greg Sankey owes them another apology after the OU officiating debacle.
The Official stopped things because Georgia coach was signaling for a Timeout...........then he didn't want a Timeout.
crazy considering how much success he’s had in prior years. 3 straight 10 win seasons with 13 wins and a CFB bid last season. You would think he would have more rope than that.
4th pick of the game for Carson Beck Should have been 5 but he got bailed out by a weakass flag earlier. Suck it, Miami. Louisville defense is legit.
