I get what you're saying and agree with you. This guy wont be a case of a lack of power, he's got that in droves. It also appears that he's got a good eye. It's going to be a matter of can he make enough contact. His fielding should be good. It appears that he moves very well for a kid his size.
I don't expect him to take that long to see Houston. Tucker was drafted in 2015 and in Houston just over 3 years later, July 2018. The same time frame puts Neyens in Houston mid 2028. Very optimistic view based on the PPI and Dana Brown's aggressiveness Spends any 2025 time at FCL. 2026: Fayetteville with a possible July-August promotion to Asheville . 2027: invite to MLB ST, Asheville then promotion to Corpus Chisti hopefully June-July. 2028: MLB ST with opportunity to win 3B or possibly 1b or SS depending on development. He's young, but 2 1/2 yrs as a pro and hopefully 1200+ PAs. Walker, Pena, and Paredes are all FA. Lots of opportunity in the infield. If he wins a spot, great. Unlikely but possible and still no issue with sending him down if he struggles after 100ish PAs.
1st rd picks make it about 73% 2nd rd picks are 50/50 Each round is less so worse than coin flip that anyone from this draft, besides Neyens ever sees the Show.
