[2024] Vegas Summer League Meet Up

Glad we didn't trade down for Knecht. He's 0-2 with a rebound so far this game through 1 quarter. He'll never recover from that!

 

I watched a bit of the team USA scrimmage today vs the select team.

The difference in skill was huge and very noticeable. Amen barely got any play time, probably because they didn't trust him at point and he can't shoot.

Bari got some burn, he was doing alright on defense but on offense, he was getting cooked. There was one play where he went 1on1 against Ant and just got locked up and pocket picked, then Ant proceeded to drill a 3 in his face on the other end. Keep in mind, Jabari's got 7 inches on Ant in height but still got locked up because his dribbling skills are still ass.

Joel Embiid just got whatever he wanted on the on offense. None of the select team dudes could even remotely stop him.

Oh yea, it seems like Select team was trying to double (sometimes triple) Ant but he still made the right passes to open guys.

 

He's not Knechting well.
