He got treated exactly like any player in his situation expects to be treated. It's the business of baseball. If players didn't negotiate limits on minor league time and options he would still be in the organization. The players want to be treated this way so they have opportunities at the MLB level rather than rotting away in AAA. There is no world where Bielak is among the best 13 pitchers the Astros have unless 10+ are injured.
