Also, think it's time to promote young Los Angeles instead of the re-treads. Red hot Chiles - 60 years old Dr. Dre - 59 years Tom Cruise - 62 years old Snoop Dogg - 52 years We gotta move on at some point.
Best Olympics in a long time. Obviously COVID tainted the last two, but three straight in Asia (Beijing, Tokyo, and Pyeongchang) were brutal for US and European fans. We've got some good ones to look forward to (LA, Milan, and the French Alps) will sate us before Brisbane in 2032 where we'll see absolutely no live events). That said, I do hope they give Tokyo another shot so they can have crowds. Paris is an incomparable city and the settings were beautiful. LA really has its work cut out for it.
It looks like the latest twist is they have video evidence of the US coaches actually submitting it under the time limit. Looks like the solution should be to just award bronze to both like they have in the past, but dunno if they are going to do that.
the problem is there are no mainstream artist anymore. they keep using the same people because everyone knows them
Taylor Swift - Beyonce - Her - Rihanna, that would be a good start. I am not much into modern pop but I know those girls
The sudden absence of Olympians in Paris is concerning. A theory points to the gold medal. The gold medal's purpose hidden as it is being used to pull the best of the best earthlings through the earth's mantle and sink them toward the iron core of the planet. Either to kill them, or even worse, collect them.
I'm not following along but if the results were graded fairly, neither Chiles nor the chick that is in line to receive bronze would have earned the bronze. The 3rd chick deserved it but got unfairly docked for touching the line when she didn't. So Chiles didn't deserve the bronze medal anyway, she should give it back. Of course, the girl who will receive the bronze also didn't deserve it, but that has nothing to do with Chiles. It's all a joke now anyway.
Aside from the whole Raygun debacle, anyone else watch breakdancing? As someone who knows absolutely nothing about it, I thought the men's elimination rounds were pretty awesome, and definitely more entertaining to watch than a lot of other sports.
I thought NBC scrubbed all the events. I watched some men's gymnastics and their moves seemed like recruitment vids for Spiderman stuntmen.
Why is there one less silver than gold awarded? I understand that there are bronzes because of combat sports, but I can't think of a reason why there are more golds than silvers. Was there an event that had a tie for gold?
