Rams were my preseason dark horse NFC Super Bowl pick, but I gave up on them after they were 1-4 and injuries mounted. Eagles better be on their game next week.
It's called "regression to the mean"...he fell back to where he's always been You know Mayfield went to both Tech and OU, right?
I think the one big shocker this season were the Rams, I had them left for dead at the midway point and then for them to demolish the Vikings was shocking to me, I hadn't followed them as I didn't take them seriously....................but DAM that was an a$$ kicking this weekend.
Today, I think the Lions will blow out the Commanders, who will not be able to stop the run or the pass. It should be the most lopsided game of the weekend. Would not surprise me if the Lions scored 40+ points. Jayden Daniels will face a fierce pass rush and needs to be at his elusive best. I don't see how they can score enough points to keep up. Lions have some injuries in the secondary, which is why their pass rush is so important for their defense.
Not sure who to root for this game: Love the Lions (mostly because of Sanders), and they've never even made a Super Bowl Have always loved the Washington Football Team, and Daniels is fun as hell to watch
That trash franchise (Washington) changed ownership, changed from a trash coach (Rivera, good human, bad coach) and are way ahead of schedule. As a Texans fan, I'm envious.
IIRC they've already won more playoff games (in 2? years, which means "this year") than they did while owned by Dan Snyder
Their pass rush isn't doing much and their secondary suffered another loss already. If the Lions don't get a rush, Commanders could continue scoring nearly every drive. Then the pick-6 off Goff, who got plastered on the return trying to make a tackle. Teddy B comes in and they score on a 68-yard reverse with Jameson Williams. This game is insane!
