It's hard to learn a system when you are out most of the season with injuries. Who knows if that happens again with Howard, Green, Tunsil, or Scruggs. I like depth on our O- Line, and draft picks are assets for not only the future, but depth, or even trade assets when needed. I would take the best pick available, and if a guy like Fautanu was available I'd snag him. His athleticism makes him a dynamic run blocker, which is something we've lacked.

I don’t mean this to sound as snarky as it may come across, but while we’re at it, why don’t we draft Penix Jr. in the second round for QB depth? Because if stroud goes down we are in trouble. We need depth and that’s more important to use early picks on than filling other holes.

Maybe we should make the Horns our official collegiate affiliate? :D

I honestly wouldn't mind having two but I feel like one might end up on our roster and that's if Murphy drops all the way down to 23.

#1. Penix is going in the 1st round. #2...you still have Mills. #3. You use 2nd round picks on STARTERS, not depth.

    Thank you….
Ironically, he actually emphasized my point in that we need to spend those picks on starters at positions of need and not OT depth.

I say NO to Newton. He had foot surgery last month and isn't even going to be at the combine. I don't want to waste a 1st round pick on a guy coming off foot surgery if healthy players are available to fit our defensive needs.

Hunter Renfrow seems like the perfect slot guy. Malachi Corley if through the draft.

Was just gonna say, it looks like Corley and a bunch of names I haven’t really heard of are leading the way in avg separation per target. But I feel like Corley is more of a screen pass WR which accounts for his yards of separation as well as his YAC.

But there is one WR on the list of most separation that is also on the top list of avg depth per target. And that’s Xavier Worthy. If he can post a low 40 time and can run all the routes, he could actually be a good get because then we could spend our first rounder on another need.

Xavier Worthy would be just fine in the slot.

Malachi Corley is not a real name, right?

His ability to get separation is scary good.
Demeco mentioned something about that being one of the key traits he looks for in a receiver.

    Yeah man, AB like.
    There’s rumors he’s gonna run a 4.3.
If so he’s going in the first round so it’s a moot point
