This year’s safety class is considered pretty mediocre, possibly even well below average, by most draft experts I’ve seen or heard talk about this year’s draft class.
Yeah I keep hearing alot about him but I haven't done much research right now. Kills the excitement for the actual offseason. I look forward to seeing what he's done.
I personally think we need Line first, specifically interior. But secondary is a need too. Might just be best available
Draft Buzz likes Javon Bullard from Georgia with Kinchers 4th. There does not appear to be a consensus. They appear to be good, but not great from initial reviews. As a position, I seem to recall CBs tending to move into the Safety ranks. But someone with more background should verify.
I have historically preferred BPA in the Draft and filling the gaps via FA. With that said, would you choose Penix at 50ish if you've already drafted a WR at 28ish because hes the highest ranked? In my simulation play, I trade down to the early 2nd and still get Leggette. I'm not sure that will be reality.
The line just needs to get healthy. The DL is fine unless there's a difference making edge available. This doesn't mean Caserio shouldn't invest in the DL in rd 3-4 on a guy like Murphy or Fiske. What they really need to do is fix the red zone issues and when it comes to those tight spaces talent usually trumps scheme. This is why I'm on board with drafting Thomas/Benson/Stover in rds 1-3. This is in addition to bringing back Schultz and Singletary.
There was no one saying Stroud had low processing speed until the S2 score came out. If someone’s play on the field is demonstrating low processing speed I wouldn’t take them.
I looked him up. He has the size and definitely the speed. Seems like his stock is rising, will he be there in the late 2nd? Seems he might go mid 2nd.
Yep and Caserio will be picking at the back of the 2nd. I'm betting after the combine Legette will move up the boards. I don't go by what others say when they put together their boards. I've got a friend that went to South Carolina and he says this guy's special, so I checked him out and he's got the potential to be a faster AJ Brown, Deebo. He's a true threat to score anytime he's got the ball in his hands. A tackle breaking game changer. Would fit in well with Collins and Tank while he learns the NFL.
I don't want anyone coming off an ACL injury. I'd much rather get a RB who hasn't suffered big injuries.
I would love a top CB but am hesitant about giving up top future draft picks to trade up for anyone. It's hard for me to justify losing out in future top draft picks.
