Mark me down for being in the " Nix ain't ****" fan club.. Maybe if he's drafted to the right situation like a Brock Purdy kinda deal, but I don't see it.. Never did !

I’m not a Nix fan either, but don’t think Penix is very good either

Agreed. I don't see the fascination with him either.. I only see 2 for sures ( of course we don't know for sure) , 1 maybe , and 5 hell naws out of the alleged potential 8 QB 1st rounders they're hyping up..

Nix is a great college QB but I don’t think he’s got the arm or physical gifts to be a solid pro QB. Could be a respectable backup QB and have a career that way.

Great college QB, great offense around him. Just to jittery with basics to translate at the next level.

Plus he is older than some QB’s who are in their third season.

Speaking of true X receivers who can make it all happen.

We need to get one of Keon Johnson or Rome Odunze, they make plays happen and can be the focal point of an offense. I excluded MHJ, as there is no way we get him.

There is receiver depth in the first round but any of these two will get a true number one target for Stroud.

I’d add Malik Nabers to that list.

Plenty of Dline and wide receiver talent available in draft that improve the team.

Are you prepared to admit defeat on the Bryce Young draft status? Gotta admit that I nailed that one -- he stinks.

He’s been pretty poor so far, the pedigree in terms of QB throws are there but not so much size.

Most QBs would’ve struggled with that team irrespective but they definitely overpaid for him. Jury is still out till next year.

We're going to need one in one of the first 4 rounds. So better to keep an eye

Honestly none of the QBs in this class have been overly impressive this year. Caleb struggles operating in structure, Drake doesn’t do anything that says ‘wow’, Penix is incredibly inaccurate and gets bailed out by his WRs regularly, Shedur makes some bad decisions at times, Ewers Nix and the rest don’t look like starting NFL QBs.

I think CJ, Bryce, Levis, AR would rate higher than all of these QBs sans Caleb.

This class tho is WR and DL deep, which is a massive plus for the Texans.

Probably but I still hope teams take them early pushing down players we need.

With the way this class has been hyped I think more mediocre QBs will get pushed up

It will be nice to finally have a draft setting up for players of need with a deep talent pool.

Hopefully this will result in losses for the Browns and help with our draft pick.

3 things I would like to see the Texans add in the off-season while they have CJ on a rookie deal.

    1. An elite pass catcher, I would love Brock Bowers but I don’t think he’ll be there with the Browns pick. I also think Devonta Adam’s would absolutely feast with CJ. Either way I’m thinking someone who is just a target machine and can win in tight coverage.

    2. interior dline, needs to be addressed in both the draft and free agency.

    3. pass catching running back that can make the first guy miss.

I agree on the interior DL. Any game changers in this year’s draft or will we look for help further down in the draft.
