Hurts, Baker and Kyler aren’t busts.
Palmer was good, Cassel, Peete, Salisbury and Rob Johnson all had solid careers

If baker and Kyler aren’t busts then we better see equally long leashes for stroud/Bryce young. Kyler and baker were first overall picks. Kyler needed a stipulation in his contract that he would study football and has an immovable contract. Baker is on his 3rd (4th?) team and hasn’t led any of them anywhere…

Busts in the sense they had production. Has there ever been an Ohio St QB that has had a season like any of Kylers or Bakers?

Nope. And I get that. But I don’t think an Ohio state qb has gone top 2 either. That adds more bust potential.. but I do agree osu has had less success in the nfl.

Are they’re enough Asian women in Cleveland too help the Browns go 0-16?

Oh, there's definitely a way we'll be the 2nd worst team in football. We have a rookie QB and a rookie head coach. We have a young team across the board. We lack playmakers on offense. Sad to report, but there's a very realistic chance of us being amongst the league's worst again.

FWIW, heard on NFL Radio this morning that Watson is looking like his old self and has his confidence back. Not the news I wanted to hear.

scary stuff. In his best season in houston, he led us to two full wins. That would be devastating. For the Browns.

    https://www.espn.com/nfl/insider/dr...mock-draft-round-1-projections-caleb-williams

    1. Arizona Cardinals — Caleb Williams, QB, USC
    2. Arizona Cardinals (via HOU) — Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State
    3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers — Drake Maye, QB, North Carolina
    4. Indianapolis Colts — Olumuyiwa Fashanu, OT, Penn State
    5. Los Angeles Rams — Jared Verse, EDGE, Florida State
    6. Tennessee Titans — JC Latham, OT, Alabama
    7. Green Bay Packers — Joe Alt, OT, Notre Dame
    8. Washington Commanders — Quinn Ewers, QB, Texas
    9. Las Vegas Raiders — Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama
    10. Chicago Bears (via CAR) — Dallas Turner, EDGE, Alabama
    11. Chicago Bears — Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State
    12. New England Patriots — Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia
    13. Atlanta Falcons — Bralen Trice, EDGE, Washington
    14. Pittsburgh Steelers — Maason Smith, DT, LSU
    15. New York Giants — Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
    16. Denver Broncos — J.T. Tuimoloau, EDGE, Ohio State
    17. Houston Texans (via CLE) — Michael Hall Jr., DT, Ohio State

The Texans need to keep adding talent all over the roster, and the defensive line remains a glaring weakness -- even after Houston traded up for Will Anderson Jr. in April. Hall is a quick-footed interior defender who displays burst out of the starting blocks at the snap. He checks a lot of key boxes as a pass-rusher, but his early-down reps as a run defender must improve in 2023. He had 4.5 sacks and 6.5 tackles for loss on only 290 defensive snaps last season.

    Potential needs: WR, DL, CB

    18. Miami Dolphins — Donovan Jackson, G, Ohio State
    19. Seattle Seahawks — Jer'Zahn Newton, DT, Illinois
    20. New Orleans Saints — Christian Mahogany, G, Boston College
    21. Minnesota Vikings — Chop Robinson, EDGE, Penn State
    22. Los Angeles Chargers — Kris Jenkins, DT, Michigan
    23. Green Bay Packers (via NYJ) — Kamren Kinchens, S, Miami
    24. Baltimore Ravens — Cooper Beebe, G, Kansas State
    25. Detroit Lions — Kalen King, CB, Penn State
    26. Jacksonville Jaguars — Kamari Lassiter, CB, Georgia
    27. Dallas Cowboys — Jason Marshall Jr., CB, Florida
    28. Buffalo Bills — Jeremiah Trotter Jr., LB, Clemson
    29. San Francisco 49ers — Kingsley Suamataia, OT, BYU
    30. Cincinnati Bengals — Graham Barton, OT, Duke
    31. Philadelphia Eagles — Javon Bullard, S, Georgia
    32. Kansas City Chiefs — Xavier Worthy, WR, Texas

So they are predicting us to have the worst or second worst record. Boy are they going to be surprised. This guy is probably from Phoenix.

We will see. If not it’s going to hurt missing out on Drake Maye or Caleb Williams

Yep, Hannah just couldn't wait on a QB. She had to have her marketing toy now.

As long as the Texans legitimately believe in CJ Stroud's potential, drafting him was the right decision. Think about it: the Texans staged a full-blown tank last year... and finished with the second overall pick. Building your franchise around a future that may or may not ever materialize is a recipe for disaster.

Now, if the Texans view Stroud as a lesser prospect... then, yeah. You take Anderson and let it play out. Forcing the pick isn't a good strategy, either. All indications are that it's the former and not later, though.

Lmao people already giving up on Stroud.

"but what about next year's QB class?"

You could apply that logic forever.

There's no reason to believe that the 2024 QB class has a generational talent in it.

Except the consensus is there’s two generational talents in next years class and a bunch of other guys comparable to this years class.
Williams and Maye are elite talents. Physically better than any in this draft and put up numbers.
