[2024 NFL Draft/3-78] Calen Bullock, S, USC

I sincerely don't understand how his PFF is below 60. They have him as a below average player but I don't understand what they're looking at? His pass coverage has been solid all season

 

Thats why JJ said PFF is a joke. He claims the real grades by coaches and scouts are way off from PFF

 

They lost a few of their big stats guys iirc and the original YourTube pod hosts left and started their own pod/channel.

 

PFF is nothing but a joke and junk. Has been for awhile.

 

He should have DRoY locked up, Lassiter is right behind him. Could be either actually.

 

Would be nice. Though its ultra rare for a safety or a non 1st round pick to win rookie DPOY. So wouldnt bet on it honestly

Almost any other back (other than Achane) and that is 6 for Bullock (or Ballhawk)

 

Shows how Demeco is willing to morph his style and adapt to a situation. We're last in playing in cover 2 or variations of it coming into this game.
Now if he could be less stingy with the Timeouts when he has three at midfield that would be much appreciated.

Im not saying he is him, but man I get Ed Reed vibes.. dude is an absolute ball hawk playing center field. Coupled with Stingley, the ball skills are incredible, dude is just always in a spot to make a play..

If you go back and look at half of Stingley's INTs, Bullock is always right there to almost make the play as well.

 

Calen Bullock is what I thought Malik Hooker was going to be before the injuries took him out. A true MOF safety that has the speed and ball skills to cover sideline to sideline. He doesn't have the enforcer hits that Reed did, but he definitely is in the same vein as a ballhawk.
