If you're trying to infuriate Bobby, it's working.

Probably my Tunsil bias showing through. While he's an elite pass protector, I've never felt he's had that same level of dedication to run blocking side of his craft. His concentration lapses and untimely penalties have been frustrating to me.
Couple that with injuries and if Fisher can be our future LT at a fraction of the cost I get interested in the discussion.

With that said, I'd concede that a Tunsil at LT and a ready Fisher at RT could be exactly what we need going forward.

Part of the reason for Tunsil's run blocking deficiencies are because of the absolute crap he's had lining up next to him at LG the past 3 seasons. If 5 -10 false start penalties a year kill this offense then this offense wont be as good as we thought it was going to be.

I think Fisher is destined for rotation this season at tackle and a replacement if called upon. Perhaps they are through with the idea tackles and guards are generally interchangeable. While some are, many aren't after their experience trying to find a LG last season. Even left side and right side is no guarantee of interchangeability.

Give the guy some time to develop. Brian Burns is no damn slouch of a pass rusher; there's a reason he's getting paid.

Trent Williams doesnt require peripheral players to dominate in all aspects.

Blake Fisher has a LONG way to go. His tape is UGLY. His grade reflects that appropriately. He has some good fundamental skills, but the speed of the NFL has surprised him.

I think the speed of the NFL has also surprised Howard. I'm nit sure on his fundamentals also. Probably been playing hurt before.

Doesn't it normally take a year or so for olinemen to get it going?

That is typical for all players. There are a few unicorns like Stroud and a few shooting stars who start off hot but fade quickly.

Howard needs to trim down. He's sloppy and picking up a hammy pull as a fat boy bangs it home. Even with that he's a WAY more consistent pass blocker than Fisher - miles apart. Howard within the last two games has allowed his run blocking to lag considerably.

Fisher has a good foundation to build on he shows some real nice flashes.

The ol has to be able to work together. It's true though that Williams is the best OT in the NFL

To your point we really need something better than the 92nd ranked guard (out of 98) starting next to Tunsil.
