The **** taking doesn't matter. What's going to be important is how Doncic responds to his subpar performance. His problems against the Celtics were due to fatigue and fitness: missing free throws, too many turnovers, and poor defensive focus. Those things likely improve if he was in better shape. The Mavericks still don't beat the Celtics, but it isn't the no contest we saw.
Alright, the Celtics did not sweep. However, it was a neat coincidence that wouldn't be if there wasn't only a day of rest before game 4 unlike all of the other games. Also, they did win their 18th championship by winning the game by 18. And they won on 6-17, the same day they won their last championship in 2008, with 617 being a Boston area code.
people actually thought we’d have beaten the KD Warriors if we had Luka instead of Harden with his level of fitness and condition, the intensity of that 2018 WCF would’ve been way too much for him…Rockets had to be on point defensively for all 48 minutes, he could never…also sucked offensively against that 2021 GS team, and basically did nothing of note on offense against Boston’s level of defense
No we still wouldnt beat GSW they had 4 superstars we had 1 and Cliff Paul. I doubt any single player can go 1v4 when the 4 are Klay, Curry, Dray and KD.
Well, it would be best for Doncic to make himself even better and figure out a way to make his teammates better, too. Worrying about who did this or that will only lead to the same outcomes. That's stuff for us to talk about.
oh brother now chris broussard is trying to give the celtics credit for winning a title with moreyball lol Broussard and those guys in the media despise harden and those rockets teams so much that they are now trying to rewrite history smh, and nick wright who is a huge daryl morey stan and who lived in houston at the time sat there quietly and said nothing start video at 2:29 mark
Difference in the series Boston's big 2 will actually defend and Mavs big 2 cant guard anyone. 3-7 big advantage Celtics.
That's for Doncic to figure and think about. If you blame him for the loss that's just bad analysis on your part. He did his job.
He’s gotta be better than harden first, which no matter what fs1, the ringer, and espn say he hasn’t been better than prime harden up this point. Certainly not the greatest scorer since jordan
Doncic did say that he didn't do enough against the Celtics. We'll see what he means by that next season. If he thinks he needed to improve his numbers, the numbers of his teammates, or both. If he just wants to improve his numbers, he'll end up losing again on his road to a James Harden career.
