    He very much has a Jeff Luhnow disciple type vibe to him - maybe he is a good guy, I have never met him, but Ill admit the vibes make me want to turn his face into a speed bag.

    Powell originally began his college career at OU. His .502 average was good for 3rd in the entire NJCAA, and his 32 homers and 104 RBI led everyone.

    Also slugged 1.088 (1st) and his 102 hits ranked 2nd. Powell is committed to Oklahoma State.

    This pick requires a lot of projection because he really wasn't all that dominant in college --- at a school with middling competition.

    Someone in the Astros scouting department likes Liberty University.

    As Christy Matthewson showed - you can find Jesus and still throw a shut out.
